I had to ride out this morning before 6:00am to find some gas for my wife's vehicle, My hope was that I could find some gas before the rest of humanity was awake and also searching for gas. At about 6:25 am I find a place on the corner of Harris and Old Statesville Rd. ( for those that live in Charlotte ) that has 87 octane, and at this time of the morning they are already packed. Fortunately I was able to fill up before it got too bad.
Has anybody run into bad situations at the gas station? I've been hearing about a lot of fights and arguments, cars running out while waiting in line and stuff like that.

All I'm going to say is that its amazing how this gas crisis is the time when the most moronic drivers decide to come out.
I was just trying to make a turn at an intersection after school and almost got hit 4 times in two days.
I really hate how some of these other high school kids think they're hot stuff just because mommy bought them a new sports car and want to try and act like that gives them a free pass to push me off the road, not realizing some people WILL get out of their car in nonmoving traffic to beat someone's ass:D

Admittedly, I don't drive much and have a great car (Honda Accord coupe!!) for gas mileage so I only need to fill up twice a month. Now, when I'm making the trips to see the Cats 70 miles south....well, things could get interesting.
