Now a full century has been completed since the Cubs last won the World Series, thanks to the Dodgers this evening who swept their asses 3-0! The media would have you believe otherwise, but this team is one of the easiest teams to pull against in all of sports. They have, generally speaking, the most arrogant, classless fans you'll ever come across....believe me, I 've had the misfortune of going to Wrigley Stadium:D (thank you, Jeff Gordon) and hearing other baseball fans perspectives on the Cubs fanbase.

This year was especially sweet because every Cub fan was crawling over one another letting everyone know this was THEIR year, including their players, most notably Ryan Demptster during spring training. Yeah, not so much, eh? I'll admit I'm still bitter about how that two game sham series they played against my Astros in Milwaukee, games which were moved from Houston because of the hurricane and played 90 miles south of Chicago in front of sellout Cubs fans in the midst of our winning 14 of 15 and climbing back in the wildcard race. Cubs fans booed my displaced Astros as they took the field on Sunday and Monday....what class. Cub 3rd baseman, Aramis Ramirez said, to paraphrase, the Astros players need to quit crying and play ball. This isn't a home game for us. We had to travel to Milwaukee too and that wasn't easy. I swear, that's pretty much exactly what he said, but I'm not sure on a couple words, or I'd quote it, and the link on astros.com isn't there anymore. Well, Ramirez went 2-12 or 13 in the NLDS against the Dodgers, so thank you, karma!!!

I'd like to think my recent avatar helped, but either way, thank you ManRam, James Loney, Russell Martin, Derek Lowe, Billingsley, Kuroda, Todd Wade, Jonathan Broxton, and Ryan Dempster's 7 walks in game 1, the Cubs infield defense in game 2, and the Cubs' overall ineptitude with RISP!

On behalf of all non-Cubs fans, let's raise one to 100 years of futility and to the next hundred!!!:cheers1:

Awesome! See, there's a respect factor for me and the Cards; the Stros and the Cards have been division rivals since the new 6 division allignment, and had some incredible NLCS in '04 and '05, and I curse Pujols and LaRussa often, but still, there's respect there, mostly because of the fans. But the Cubs? BOOOOOOO!!!
