I'd be there if I wasn't running a marathon in Raleigh the next day. Opening night is a great time. This year I guess I'll just have to watch from home.

I'll be there. I have made it to all of the openers since they started and this is the one I'm most excited about.

I won't be there opening night, but I did pick up tickets today these 3 games.
Hornets
TrailBlazers
and the WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?! this 3rd set of tickets is supposed to be the CAVS but they gave me tickets to the OK City Sonics!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'll be going back to the ticket office tomorrow to get that fixed. Lord knows I have no desire to see the Sonics.

My mistake, I called them the Sonics by accident. The tickets just say Oklahoma City... Still, I've got to get that fixed tomorrow, I hope they don't make a big deal about it at the ticket office.

Yeah I will be there, last year I was 1 row off the floor, so going to call the guys and see if i can get a few seats just as good. Excited to see how well these guys mesh and play in the preseason and hope none of our guys get injured like other teams.

hell Antwan Jameson hurt now, and no Agent Zero = washington down a few spots, and Miami didn't seem to play that great. So things are looking up!!

Most definitely will be there, barring unforeseen circumstances. Getting damn well pumped about it. If I can get there early enough, I'm up for a pre-game salute of suds for the coming successful season! Hopefully they'll get the season ticket printing fiasco fixed so I'll actually have some tickets, but other than that, I'm there! Don't even know who we play, but it's on!!!!!

The ticket office has been absolutely ridiculous this season thus far: first I call and they won't even tell me the on-sale date for single-game tickets and I had to email Michael Thompson to get that information. Then yesterday I walk down to the Arena to get tickets for opening night...I was one of 15 people in line with only ONE of the ticket windows open. It took me almost 45 minutes to get my tickets for just one game! And then to top it off, once they finally opened another window and I went up to ask for opening night, the guy thought it was the Hawks game. I was like "NO, it's against the Heat."

Supposedly the printer they use to print season tickets had its workers go on strike, so the business, which prints STs for 9 other teams the email said, is in limbo. They say they're either going to wait for the situation to resolve, find another company, or print them themselves, but we will get our tix in time for the season. What a strange little franchise we root for, right? That said, Michael "Gets things done" Thompson is the damn man; and my ST person, Jessica, is nice as hell. Still, it just seems this franchise can't buy a break...I mean, a printing house whose workers go on strike delaying getting our STs? That's just some shitty luck for a franchise that needs luck, but of the other variety...

 That's hilarious!

Just got a call from a ticket rep and she said that from now until opening night you can get upper level tickets...not the absolute worst seats but "first come first served"...for 10 bucks each if you buy them in groups of 10 or more.

Michael Thompson is a BEAST...he should be the GM of the Bobcats lol we'd be at the top of the Eastern Conference so fast, the league wouldn't know what hit it :)

wow everyone talking positively about their ticket reps. My guy could care less about me. The only time i hear from him is upgrade time or parking pass time. I never get an answer when i call or email... he makes me feel like that psycho girlfriend.

My guy sucks, too.

I was actually going to start a season ticket experience thread but I'm heading off for vacation. I don't know if you feel if it warrants its own topic by splitting this off or whatever.

Let MT know and see if he can't get you someone else, or get this guy's ass in gear. Jessica is kickass. We always do the phonetagging, so I rarely talk to hear, but she answers my emails within hours. If they let you pick a new one, ask for her....she's a saint!

Received my tickets in the mail today and can't wait to get to Time Warner Cable Arena to see them Cats. What do they look like? Are they like the preseason tickets they sent us that has the generic "boxoffice" look with "Time Warner Cable Arena" logo on it? Or did it come in the booklet with the player photos and such like season tickets in the past?

I'll be glad to get them in hand so I can figure out which games I'm going to so I can send out the invitations...

Was happy to see mine in the mail today, and you're right, they are those plainjane TWC arena tickets. You know, they said there was a strike at the printer's, but the skeptic in me wonders if this wasn't another in a long line of cost-cutting measures taken by the franchise. I'll admit, things could be much worse than not having nice, glossy tickets, but being a ST holder should entitle you to something better than these generic "box office" tickets with no Bobcats logo, only the TWC logo.

Anyway, it's great to have my entry for the 41 TWCA games, and as of now, looks like I'll be going to the first 3: Heat, Pistons, Hornets, and definitely skipping Sunday vs. Raptors...no offense to Raptors, I just don't do Sunday games....unless it were the playoffs;)

There's a place on the bobcats site where you can type in your seat Section and Row and it'll give you a 3D view from your seats, it's pretty cool: http://www.seats3d.com/nba/charlotte_bobcats/
