Notice they have both Boozer and Ray listed in the top 10. Very interesting. Honestly, if Boozer would stay with us long term, I'd let DJ run the show from Day 1 if he has J-Rich, Crash, Boozer and Okafor as the other starting 4. I think he'd do just fine.

Edit: I know it would have to be a 3 way deal due to salary issues.

If we traded Felton for Boozer I think it would quite possibly be the best day of my life haha......but another thing to think about is why would Utah trade for another starting PG when they have D-Will? Unless they use Felton at SG?

Which is why I think it would have to be a 3 way trade. Someone who needs a PG like Ray, and can give Utah what they may need. But Utah will get nothing for Boozer if they sit pat and do nothing.

that would never happen for so many reasons... and that idea isnt even suggested in the article

it is so ludicrous

it would have to be a 3 way deal because no one is stupid enough to trade Boozer for felton.

I still wouldn't mind getting Boozer and Ronnie Brewer using Crash and a filler (McMay? ) no way we get him by just shopping Ray.

Matt, I did not say that it would be a 1 for 1 swap. There would need to be a 3rd. And if Boozer can be had without giving up the house, it would be a nice idea. If Utah fears they will see Boozer walk and get no compensation for him, then they will trade for the best deal they can get. Just depends on whether you get them at the right time.

Chad Ford trying to create news. He said after the draft that "this means Felton's out of here", yet LB said neither were available.

Who'm I gonna believe... :g:

Boozer is going to the highest bidder next summer regardless of which jersey he last wore. A few teams...and none of 'em are the Charlotte Bobcats...are going to have a lot of capspace. Add in that Utah is a contender...now is just as important as next year for them.

I'd like to have him, but honestly I don't see management making the adjustments necessary (esp. since every one of our players except Swish...who we don't want to trade...has low value). I don't have faith in them doing easier things, much less something like this.

what third is going to be stupid enough to trade something that the jazz want enough to give up boozer for felton then? The reality is, feltons not worth half of boozer. And really there is no reason for utah to panic and trade a quality asset for pennies on the dollar when they can "risk" trying to resign him for more then any other team can... Im not saying feltons worthless, but this scenario is so farfetched.

Think about the nuggets trade with the 76ers for ai, they had to trade ai, and they got more in exchange...

And we picked up the 09-10 options on Ammo and Dudley. Dudley I can understand. Ammo? Not so sure that is not something being done for Trade purposes so that he will be more than a 1 and done for someone should he be involved in a trade.
