This is a very quick game thread for today's matchup against the Magic, that I'm quickly slapping together before I run out the door to work.

Yes, it's Magic@Bobcats. It a "cool school" game where area kids get to go on a field trip and see an NBA game. Seems kinda awesome if you ask me. I wish someone was doing that kinda thing when I was in school.

Feltons shooting has to be in his head at this point. He needs to forget about all those misses last year and just play hard. I think J-Rich had a game last year where he hit his first 8 shots in a row then missed his next 17. You have to just keep firing and be mentaly tough.

Our defense continues to improve (we've kept opponents under 95 points for 3 straight games now, that's gotta stand for something right?) but we might as well not even play on the offensive end right now, we would probably have a better chance to win.

edit: next game is home against the Hawks this Saturday at 7 PM. Televised on SportsSouth.

It takes two halves of basketball to equal a win. Still, it's the preseason. I hope LB saw what it was he needed to see in the players today.

Some good things happened regardless of the outcome:
May performed a lot better than he has so far this preseason.
Our FT% was pretty good.
Ammo still is playing well (ignoring rebounds).

Other than that it's worth noting that it seems like none of our guards can make the ball go in the basket.

Also, Bonnell's reporting (http://blogs.charlotte.com/inside_the_nba/2008/10/wallace-leaves.html) that Gerald left the game with a bruised back. The Bobcats say it's nothing serious. I hope that's the case.

Im sure Brown is not happy at al with out point guard preforance.C. Lee made both Felton and Augustin look very bad , Thats not speaking highly of our point play,
Hell is Dudley the best we can offer at p/f . Duds is really a three. Things are really screwed up right now in Bobcats country . Mek gets 72 milion to rebound the ball and gets killed by a beanch warmer off the magic. Bright spots over all defence is a little better . And Morrison showed some flashes today .H is best outing this year by far.
Im very worried about our p/f play and all so worried about out point play as Augustine is becoming a chunker may be worse than Felton.
