Preseason: Atlanta Hawks at Charlotte Bobcats 10/18

Put a big red X over Josh Childress in the picture above and this is who we've got tonight at 7pm. I understand that its just the preseason and we're playing to learn the system and to get better, but it sure would be nice to get a Win.... I'm just sayin'

Yeah, I want a win, preseason or not. It's also important for the team to get wins, just to maintain a certain level of confidence.

I know we can beat them. If we get better guard play and the big guys keep pulling down rebounds, then we'll be fine.

Yep preaseason or not I believe our guys have to much pride to go 0-5 I think we will have a great showing. Ray & DJ both must step it up plus I hope to see Shannon, Ammo, Lex, and Davidson getting more PT to see how they would perform logging major minutes.

I love the intensity that this team has on defense. There is no doubt in my mind that this years team will be the best defensive team in the history of the franchise. The offense will come with time as they guys learn the system.

At the half Felton is +5 and DJ is -4...but why does it have to be a competition?

We fell back when the subs were in, but the good news is we came back with the starters vs. theirs. Even had them rattled near the end of the 2nd half.

Andre Brown was first off the bench and did pretty well I thought. Nice block by Ajinca, and both Felton & DJ hit nice floaters in the lane. Swish is driving a lot and had a SWEET pass to Mek to get the "and one".

Justin Williams looked pretty good in his first couple of minutes in the 4th quarter.

On a side note: its not even the regular season yet, and I'm already sick of that North Carolina Lottery jackass. By midseson I'll probably be ready to take a gun to my TV every time that commercial comes on.

J Williams looked like a beast in just four mins of play . 4 boards 2 blocks and one for two shooting . Now thats a live body in just four mins,
Felton all so showed why hes the starting point and breaking out of his shooting slump . Augustine i know can do better than the 1 for 7 he shot tonight . Once he comes around we will have two solid points.
I SEE INPROVEMENTS EVER GAME . And i expect Brown to start working a rotation next game , With a little more real game sets and less subtitions. M ay is no good for more than 15 mins a game big concern thair.

I agree, I think May will be fine, I mean he isnt shooting to terribly and his defense and rebounds are solid. I just hope we have a decent rotation when May isn't in the game. I agree 15-25 mins a game is not great but i think over the next few games he will get better. We hear people talking about how they were working out all summer, but nothing equals actually playing at the pace of another team and against a real opponents intensity.

I think we will be fine, may will be fine, but most of our concerns aren't about may not being able to play, we know he can... the real question is what happens if May becomes injured??

As far as the Ammo trade, I am not sure, we need a backup PF for sure. I think May once he gets back in game shape will be a major indicator of our playoff probabilities! But I hate to see people come into the league and not get a fair shake. I am not an orlando or duke fan but it shows a prime example. Redick is flat kicking ass this preseason, but yet they always overfill his slot and give him no playing time. I would like to snatch redick for the cats! Ammo needs a chance here or elsewhere. If he can keep that knee in check/

You can just imagine LB saying those exact words to the team in private after these past 5 games... Just awfull performances, not even worthy of being a playoff contender in any criteria whatsoever. Just Pathetic. I mean right now it's hard to identify a team which we know for a fact that can't beat us?? Can somebody here name a few teams? I Can't!
