From the sound of it, if Bonnell has any inside info w/ this team, someone's Contract gets eaten. My guess is Hollins.

Bonnell has as much inside info with this team as you and I have.

I would eat Hollins contract before I would cut A. Brown...that's for sure...

How many open roster spots do we have assuming Shannon Brown remains on the squad and one project big is cut ? I've heard the other Brown & Williams have been playing pretty good ball the past few games I wonder if we could sign both if Twiggy was cut.

13 guaranteed contracts are listed below

Raymond Felton
DJ Augustine
JRich
Matt Carroll
Crash
Adam Morrison
Dudley
Jermareo Davidson
Ajinca
Okafor
Nazr
Hollins
May

Unguaranteed contracts

Shannon Brown
Andre Brown
Justin Williams

So if we cut hollins, we could keep all three on the roster if I am right...

13, I think you right about the contracts, But i don't see Bobcats management cuting either player ,. I could see either as a filler in a trade. If we end up making no trades i see us keeping two of the three you listed. If Brown ends up keeping S Brown look for a trade . We will have just too many wings. If we do cut S. Brown. look for us to go with what we have.

IMO Twiggy needs to be cut, and Jermario should stay since he has a decent offensive game. Twigs is all hops and 6 fouls. I think we should bite the twiggy bullet and see what the other bigs can do.

I agree...unless we make a trade I'd cut Hollins and keep the 3 others....

There is no serious reason on earth or any other planet as to why we should keep Hollins. People are complaining about how unproductive Ajinca is now but what has Hollins produced...EVER?

Ajinca even though he's young, boney, and a little Bball IQ slow right now stills plays more and better then Hollins. I would love to know managements purpose for keeping him around. Even if its just to have a extra big, He sucks, and brings nothing to the team.

Everybody is blaming Hollins but neither Davidson nor the others are so great to waive him.

Although Hollins is not my favorite type big, I think nobody will be cut and Justin Williams will be waived, so Hollins, Davidson and A&S Brown's will remain in the roster.

I have a feeling that Davidson goes before Hollins. Really I don't think we will cut either though. Neither has impressed that much in preseason, but neither has shannon brown or Justin williams so far.

Hollins is going to be much improved by knowing his role and having a good coach. I don't see LB parting with him just yet.

I'm not saying Hollins won't improve, but I don't understand why you think he will improve. Remember, at NO point in his career, including college, has he been a good basketball player. He has kept a spot in the locker room because he is a long athletic freak who can jump and run. However, he exhibits next to no understanding of the game or basketball skill. He plays exclusively with raw athletic ability.

Davidson, on the other hand, at least shows some basketball IQ and skill, especially offensively. Davidson's biggest knock is that he plays to small, being a somewhat lanky guy for a power forward. However, with more seasoning and strength conditioning, he seems to be a guy who can contribute.

Maybe neither guy ever makes an impact. However, I'd take Davidson 99 out of 100 times over Hollins.

I agree with you 100% Dnbman. I can't understand a single reason to like Hollins over Davidson.
