Not saying this guy was the truth or anything but I would really like to know what do they see in Twiggy to keep him under contract here.

He had to be a big up grade over Hollins . Its no way we part with the big bucks if hes not a rotation player. Things are starting to look good for A Brown to get this far and not feel the wrath of the all mighty blade . Its beginning to look like the kid might make it.

I expected this happening, after a strong start in first game, he did nothing rest of the way.

I'm really going to miss his potential 40% ft shooting.

agreed dav..... i have no idea what the mancrush is that the front office and/or coaches have with twiggy. he's been given the usual allotment of time for rail-thin 2nd rounders to show some game and he's done nada. i saw more from williams in that game against atlanta than twiggy all pre-season. i am intrigued at the andre brown situation too.

We should cut Felts to create a roster spot. I was reading this morning that Michael Ruffin is available.

He'll solve everything.

We might have the roster set unless a team cuts a player LB just loves......or the seemingly impossible happens...(a trade for a PF)...

playoffs...PLAYOFFS?

Here's more rumors regarding roster changes

"
Several NBA executives laughed over Charlotte Bobcats (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/cha/;_ylt=AnmfRpS5fUEQ_4N1I3NrZpfTjdIF) owner Robert Johnson’s insistence on Monday that he has no interest in selling his failing franchise. Sources say that there have already been overtures made to prospective buyers in recent months. As for the Bobcats roster, Larry Brown talked Michael Jordan out of trading forward Gerald Wallace (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3533/;_ylt=AsdOajf8gQ3wYEOwsC_keeDTjdIF) over the summer, but that hasn’t stopped him from shopping him in the preseason, sources say. Charlotte was hoping to showcase Adam Morrison (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4131/;_ylt=Agj.tAXj8m.T9Kz0wSTNvZnTjdIF) enough in the preseason to find a taker for him."

I'd hate to lose Adam Morrison right now

I figured Brown would be the one shopping Wallace. Anyone else find it interesting he talked Jordan out of it? Or has this already been discussed?

If Wallace is being shopped, I'm sure it has more to do with his value, the ability to net us a great PF, than it does with his ability to contribute in a Larry Brown system.

Morrison I can see being actively shopped, as he doesn't fit in as well and could land us a moderate complimentary piece.

This is what I believe to be true of professional basketball: everyone will be discussed by front staff. Even the Cavs and Lakers will listen to calls about their stars if it involves talent and draft picks. They probably say no, but that doesn't mean they don't listen.

Furthermore, we WANT our front office to be having these conversations; that means they're doing their job of trying to make the team better. However, if these types of conversations are broadcast to the media every time, they can have negative effects on the team, which is why we don't necessarily need to feed the fire every time a trade rumor gets mentioned.
