As a kid, I snuck and watched the Exorcist without my parents knowing. This movie scared the shit out of me for months after that and made me lose quite a bit of sleep.
Since we're approaching Halloween, I'd like to know what scared the Hell out of you when you were a kid?

Wow Zig...that was the first movie that scared the hell out of me!
2nd would the Halloween 3 (?)...the one with the little girl. Kids being possessed has always messed with me.

Yeah, thanks Ziggy! It makes it less scary to know that while in clown make-up Tim Curry is frightening, but he's not so imposing while wearing a teddy.

Man, the Exorcist scared the crap out of me! I also snuck and saw it at a friend's house when I was probably six or seven years old. Mad scary!
It's still one of the only movies that I genuinely think I shouldn't watch. Creepy biz.
BTW, Zig. F^@& you after those spider pics.

The ripping-out-the-heart scene from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I think I was like 5 or 6 at the time....scared the CRAP out of me. I cried for DAYS, I didn't wanna go to school, didn't want to go to sleep, nothin lol

I was actually one of them little daredevil kids. My father is one of them outdoorsy type guys. So I was always outside fishing or whatever.
I would go back in the woods behind my house and chase rabbits and stuff around:rolleyes:
Now that I've grown up I realize there's A LOT of scary shit out there haha. I don't really have fears of movies and whatnot, but spiders DO freak me out.
[Grand] Daddy Longlegs=good
Every other spider=badddddddd>:(

When a couple of my friends and I were booked (and later brought to the station) on account of trespassing and looting (we thought it'd be nice to hang at this abandoned house which, unbeknownst to us at the time, contained certain items of value). During questioning I've been running all these 'brutal interrogation' scenes from various cop flicks ('Colors' comes to mind) in my head, needless to say, it wasn't an enjoyable experience. Of course, later that night, we were let go without any charges, seeing as we haven't done a thing to warrant any. My folks never found out about it.
