View Full Version : Operation: Bobcat TV
I called the Executive office again today. They are sending another email up the chain for the triangle area to get the Cat's on TV. Again, different guy than yesterday, but was more than helpful. Here is the number:
Executive Offices

Everyone needs to call with all of the viewing areas affected. The more noise we make the more likely we can get a swift resolution to the problem.
Get on the horn!

I think the main problem is in the triangle area you have the Hurricanes in 1st place and then you have a Cats team that isn't predicted to make the playoffs. Like everything else the money is where they are... There are more Hurricane fans in the triangle area than Bobcats fans.... Same thing in the triad area....
Actually, the problem is that we don't have Sports South on our channel lineup. All of the games are viewed on sports south.

You would still have to buy a package to watch it even if SS was in your area or it would still be blacked out... I lived with dish network and direct tv since the early 90's....

Done!
The guy at first seemed a little frustrated, saying that they've had 3 calls already...that it's already been forwarded to the vice president of something. He then loosened up a little, asked about the situation in Raleigh...was it blacked out or just not available.
Hopefully that does something.

Even if I get the expanded FS package I won't see the games because I'm not in that region. They're even blocking it on LP.
Besides, in my package I get FSS, and the rep told me yesterday that they have no Bobcats' games scheduled thru the 4th (Monday's game is on FSS).
