The team looked good tonight...if LB keeps McMay off the floor until he is in some kinda playing condition I think we have a chance to win...everybody looked better tonight...a good team win!

I agree that May needs to be better conditioned. I know they are reporting that larry brown is making May do a lot of wind sprints in practice. Which is good. I do not think the bobcats have any other option than to give May the time to get in shape. I know there are a lot of MaySayers on this forum, but he has proved he can play and can really contribute if he can stay healthy. He has missed a lot of games, and i think if he can recover from this surgery then we will be fine, he can be productive. I thought they would give May 20 mins a game until he gets conditioned better. A yr off the court would hurt anyone, but moreso when one can not even get off their asses and jog a little.

LB I think is determined to get May in shape, and the front office has not got many other options at the moment.

I would hate to trade Ammo or wallace or felton. I think Ammo is stepping his game up , could it be the hair weighed him down and made him slower?? cause he sure as hell seems to be a bit faster up and down and side to side as compared to last year :)

Feltons assist numbers look good so far, but I think our other key issue is Mek. The ShotBlocking magnet :) I just wish someone would piss him off before the next game and make him go strong to the basket instead of like an 8yr old school girl afraid to get bumped. he needs to earn that fat paycheck this year. Play with some determination.

And serious, could we really get Harrington from GSW?

I believe that "by committee" for the time being will have to work...I really can't see us trading anyone until McMay is given a chance (not on the court which will hurt the team) to get into shape or he's not going to have a career of any kind anywhere...I think LB is a good enough coach and the players are good enough to have a better season than last year with or without McMay.

I agree, millst2, Ammo is playing quicker than ever to start the season, and even though he struggled with his shot tonight, he still found ways to help the team out, and that didn't happen in his rookie season.

Special recognition to Andre Brown who I thought brough great energy and athleticism while he was on the floor. Though I'll always pull for the kid, Andre's a marked improvement over Jermareo, without doubt.

Once again, another couple of boards for Big Lexy in a little over a minute of garbage time. Still waiting for those first points, but the kid can rebound right out of the shoot!!!

Also, except for stepping out of bounds, Shannon played more than competently, and is doing okay as the 3rd ball handler. I concede (listen, people, I'm admitting an error in judgment!!!) he was worth picking up at the expense of Kyle Weaver.

Really anticipating Monday's game to see how this crew (that is the team with May, Johnson and Hollins not activated) can hang with the Pistons...

I think Ziggy's blog about the game nailed it. Some other thoughts I've had:

Adam still got frustrated with his missed shots. I hate to see that. One miss, he shakes his head; two misses, he's pounding his fist; three misses, he's exasperation unleashed...pounding his fist, grimacing, looking all around...dude needs to keep it cool...especially under duress.

I was surprised but not too surprised that Matt Carroll didn't play. Matt's been struggling on both sides of the court. I think with the Sean May fiasco; LB may have decided, at least for one game, to try to match-up athletically with the Heat and go with Shannon Brown. So, no Matt too.

When I saw Hollins, Johnson and May deactivated...my first thought was, now we're getting serious....

Morrison plays with ALOT of emotion.....If he keeps it all bottled up in his rookie season he will go crazy and end up getting fined for cursing at a fan in Miami or something like he did as a rookie. Bickerstaff told Morrison not to say anything or show all that emation on the court. Morrison has to be crazy on the court because it intimidates people and gets him pumped up.
