I know this doesn't add an extra PF to the team but it does address the toughness this team needs on the inside and gives us a guy who can rebound well and who can score on put backs. I know their are a lot of Noah haters but I could put that aside if it meant it would help our team. Noah is not much offensively on the blocks but his defense and rebounding may be enough to help. Can I say that this makes us a definite playoff team? No I can't, but there are not a whole lot of options out there. Noah would get more playing time and May could park his butt on the bench til he proved he deserves minutes. I think playing on the Bulls team may be a good fit for May. I would hope for the Bulls that would be the case. The fact that May can't stay healthy means he could come off the bench which would not be as taxing on him since he is injury prone and not in the best of health. I would love to have a 4 or 5 that could post up but there aren't many out there that have that skill. Really, coaches don't seem teach that skill much anymore.

I checked to see if this trade works and it does.

I don't think the Bulls are willing to give up Noah just yet

McMay has less than no trade value right now. His coach has been quoted as saying he is deactivated, and will remain deactivated, until he can improve his conditioning.

That means a warm body with a pulse has more trade value than him.

I'd like to get Noah, but I doubt we would get him for just McMay.

Is this supossed to lessen a probability of 3rd grade concussion happen?
(I guess everybody would make sure twice that Mikki and Gerald can't go in contact during practices :))

Sean May wouldn't even get a 2nd rd pick thats silly. No one wants him, Charlotte doesn't even want him we are just stuck with him. He has no trade value, None. Any thought of trading Sean May are pointless cuz No team wants him:cool:

The CBA needs to create a new contract clause called the Sean May clause designed to give the team back part of its contract money in the case the player can't or refuses to get back into shape after a big time injury... He should be granted a given amount of time to get in shape and if he doesn't then the team can cut him and be given a % of its contract money back. Thus the "Sean May" clause.....

lets just throw in some other players and get al jefferson too... while were at it lets trade to get lebron chris paul and kobe...

sounds good, but no suggestion of how or why it would work and it never would. same as your proposal.

Sean has some very limited value as an expiring contract. I mean I can imagine some trade including Sean on one side and chemistry cancer + money/pick(s)/filler on the other one. Cancer just to release and have his contact counted for 2+ years.

Basically we could get only somthing other teams want to get rid of and if lucky we could get a throw in.

It might be possible with NJ since they have about 3 PF that they want to trade...we might be able to package him with one of our shooters (Ammo or Matt)...but I think a package is the only way we unload him at this point and even in a package we might have to give one or both of our second round picks...S. Swift is in the last year of his contract with NJ and could certainly help on the offensive side but little with rebounds although he is in a contract year and his last one (at Memphis) he had his best year...he might be worth a year rental for McMay and Matt...thoughts?

It works in trade checker....

how is trading Felton/May for Sheed like trying to get Bron?

well your original post simply had a "package" in mind, but still that trade would never happen. Basically thats giving up sheed for felton and 2 million in dead salary. pistons front office is smart, remember they ripped us off for two expiring for an overpaying contract. Im not saying i dont like nazr but they got the better end of the deal by far. so it is like trying to get bron in that it will NOT happen.

plus the salary doesnt work, so again, the idea is dumb. basically my point of view is think things through before you post far-fetched schemes that have a snowballs chance in hell in happening.

I hear what you guys are saying about Mays trade value but maybe a second rounder thrown in would sweeten the pot a bit for the Bulls, either that or we give them a first if that pick is after #20. If we were to pick late in the first it's highly unlikely that the pick would be a star or superstar anyway. Maybe a solid bench player but not likely more than that. As it stands that is all Noah is anyway. Also May is a good player when he is healthy but he just can't seem to stay that way. If he had some incentive clauses in his contract he may be more likely to stay healthy.

I would say we could throw in Felton but the Bulls are already trying to find a reasonable trade to rid themselves of Heinrich. They are not likely to want another pg.
Still if I was the Bulls I would keep Heinrich and have the benefit of added depth at the one. Felton has not been phenominal by no means but my thinking is we should at least keep him til around the trade deadline and see how he pans out. I feel we need the added depth and I am not sure their are other PG's available who are much better than what we have already.

I know that beating a 15 win team from last year that did little to improve itself this year is not a big accomplishment but the way the team played in that game looked way better than any win we had last year. I feel that once the guys get comfortable with the system we may not need to talk about adding a PF. We probably should hold off on any deals til we see just what we have to work with in a Larry Brown system.
