As most know i havn't been a big fan of Ammo and have had big doubts of his come back.

But Ammo has forced me to reconsider. Brown saying hes at about 70 percent and still don't fully trust the knee. Morrison seems to be a very stedy coming off the beanch . To me hes playing much smarter than his rookie year. All so i have saw decent defence .I noticed that a lot tonight him playing Prince, very much improved .
Hes not ready to start but seems to be adjusting to Browns system quite well.
And i think now he could turn out to be a very effective sixth man for this team.

Has any one else noticed a inprovement in Morrison from preseason til now?????

Alone, Ammo wont bring what we need in a trade. As one part of a deal, maybe. But if no major deals are coming, I love him as a 6th off the bench for major minutes.

I would think Morrison's trade value is at its absolute lowest right now. If we are going to trade him, which I am not in favor of yet, we need to let him display some of his talent once again.

Ammo's looking better, athletically, than he did during his rookie year. His confidence is amazing also. He and Shannon off the bench were the only reason I thought we had a chance to win this thing early in the 3rd. Definitely hold on to him and look to move Carroll if at all possible.

Also, yes, his D has very much improved. You're right, dave, initially he went out there because Walter was out there, and Coach knew he could defend him well enough, but when Prince came in, Coach let him stay out there because of his hot hand, and he didn't embarass himself at all. I might be laughed out of BCP (I know ammofan won't though!) but Ammo, by season's end, could be a winner for Comeback player of the year.....or is it just MLB that has that award? Either way, if the NBA has/had it, I think Ammo will/would give that award a run for its money!

I will say this about Morrison , if he is in fact trade bait . He should starting to gain some value. I really think that was the idea , trade bait to begin with . But now after such a solid presence off the beanch im not sure. Be for season started i would have jumped on Morrison for Frye and laughed all the way home. Now i wonder if Morrison for Frye would be smart on our part. Brown did say last night in post game Carroll and Morrison was a duplication. And said Carroll should be getting playing time and could play. That statement kinda led me to belive show casing is what we doing. But i have a feeling we would give up either player for a p/f.

playoffs...PLAYOFFS?

agreed..Not sure if Morrison is trade bait or not. But I do have a strong feeling that after hearing Brown comment on Carroll and Morrison being a duplication, one of them will be likely trade for a PF. I just hope it's Carroll and not Morrison.

So far Morrison has been decent. His defense and passing have been the most impressive to me. It seems like he gets this system (or maybe its just the first time in the NBA hes been coached). It seems like with him on the court, the plays are executed well and end up in someone scoring.

He literally shut down Prince last night (0 points, 1 assist) while guarding him and didn't let Hermann do anything either. I'm not saying that hes the DPoY of the year or anything at all. But i think a bunch of people need to rethink his contribution to the team. If he really is at 70 percent... then the future is bright.

i wouldn't say 6th man right now. But contributor from the bench - yes.

Exactly. Morrison's defense was excellent last night. He pushed the ball up the floor several times without really making a bad decision. In the posessions he was most effective in, he was constanly moving. I really liked what I saw from him.

Without question, I was most impressed with Morrison, S Brown and Dudley the most last night

6th man should be Shannon Brown IMHO but Ammo will contribute because he brings instant offense when he gets PT. Don't get me wrong if he could land us Frye or Area 51 I'd move him without thinking twice though.

He just needs to work on his handle.

He's still the same guy we drafted 2 years ago that most people freaked out over during and at the end of his rookie season.

It's just now his coach understands him a little better.

trade value: 0

plus, he's the teams only scoring off the bench. Also, he makes the extra pass which takes 3 or 4 shots away from him. He fits.

again, he has no trade value.

I "think" it's Sean Williams from the Nets (he wears #51)
