No:confused: no, no, no, no!
why give up 2/3 of our core for three scrubs? If it was the '10 offseason then that would be possible as we could take that off the books, but not for the '09 offseason. I would never trade for those 3 pieces unless I wasn't giving up much at all. The only one I remotely like is Varejao!
In addition, I HIGHLY doubt Cleveland would give up all of THEIR expiring contracts for Mek and Crash.
Do I approve? No
Is it possible? No

Why would we do this trade? Even if it does clear up some cap room after this year, does anybody really think that the FO would do anyhting with it? This is a terrible trade for the Bobcats, but it might happen because of their FO. :)

Varajao is going to opt out at the end of the season so that trade is moot.
But yeah...pretty bad!

Not to mention that Cleveland will likely make the playoffs, making their first round pick pretty low.
If you do a trade like that, it's to get a high draft pick and better young talent than this trade suggests.

this post boggles my mind
1st who the fuck is thinking about tanking a season 5 games in when were 2-3 and just beat a top team in the league
2nd free agency next year isnt that exciting, so why would we dump 18 million in salary, two of our three best players, both of whom we resigned this last year and this summer, while getting nothing in return?
i just dont understand what inspired this post

get 'em tiger!!
Exactly what I'm saying, but he's new so lets give him the benefit of the doubt, don't wanna scare off all the new guys :D
on the bright side, could have morrison, carroll, pav, wally on the floor at the same time. it would look like a game from the 50's. 4 set shooters firing a way. the team shoe would have to be the old school chuck t's.

People are impatient as hell, and this sky-is-falling crap is getting out of hand (and yes, I did just watch us completely blow it against the Raptors).

We aren't tanking the season, we go into each game trying to win, out problem is we are inconsistent as hell, last game we hardly missed a free throw today's game was different. It's not the coach it's the players. The 4th quarter sucked and its the player's faults that it happened. We are just inconsistent as hell...

I still chalk that up as us not KNOWING HOW to win. When teams get so used to losing and sucking, they aren't able to handle the situation where they KEEP a lead for a win.
It'll come in time, our players are getting better and we're going to be surprised at how well we develop in the first year of our LB turnaround

I already am.
We're a wholly different team from last year. We look like we actually have a plan, and eventually it'll all come together.

I couldn't even find out what our frontcourt was supposed to be after the season. Drafting Griffin? Signing Boozer? These two are way too similar. Or drafting Mullens? Or hoping on Nazr? Or AA is getting some love suddenly? Re-signing Varejao? (not that he must) And who will replace Crash? Questions, questions.
Ammo, Hammer, Wally, Sascha - I'm kinda regretting we wouldn't have primo he would fitt in this lineup pretty well - white center not realizing he is not a shooting guard. And gangsta.

Tanking to me is giving up and hoping to lose as much as you hope to win. In Herm Edwards words "You play to win the game-ah" We're not going to tank. If this team tanks it's because we traded away our core and Larry has been bound and gagged in the locker room.
