This ties in with the prior thread about JR being out tonight..

But it seems that Morrison will be the "anointed" one.

The encouraging thing here is this quote:

"" “I think I'm better moving around, instead of just being a spot-up jump shooter,'' said Morrison. “I'd never really played that way. When I'm moving, I shoot a better percentage whether it's shooting off screens or driving.''

Bobcats coach Larry Brown is encouraging Morrison to move even more. The challenge is raising his teammates' awareness of how Morrison creates shot opportunities.

“Eventually, plays break down and then you've just got to play basketball, and you hope everybody plays with the IQ he has,'' Brown said. “I don't know if we have a lot of guys who have that feel'' for the game. ""

you have to get excited for Ammo..when your coach makes a comment like this. We really need Ammo to move around so he can differentiate himself from Carroll...if he just stands there , then, well he is just like Carroll.

Crossing my fingers for a big night for him..


How do you guys think he'll do filling in for JR ?... I'm thinking 12 pts, with 3-4 assist, I think we will be pleased..

MC is still going to start, but Ammo will get a lot of minutes. Cant wait to see what he does tonight. I am expecting a big game from him. I think he will surprise a lot of people.

that is a glowing article from LB about Ammo. its true... its easy to hate on Adam and he gets plenty of it. but if you are a fan of pure basketball, you can't dislike him, especially after the recent revelation that is...... defensive stopper Morrison.

I mean i guess MC is starting because he is a better set up shooter and more the prototypical NBA SG. but he is not an NBA starter and I dont think he should get starter minutes. and i don't think Adam should necessarily be getting starter minutes right now either so don't jump on me Big Slam. My point is that when Matt Carroll is in the game, for him to do anything the offense has to flow to him and end with him. and hes just not good enough for that.


I will be watching closely the point diff when MC is in the game tonight.

I expect Hammer to get the start with both players loging 30+ for the game. Hammer has all ways steped when he started . He seems to drop some where between 14 and 20 in a starting role . I expect no different tonight . Morrison will be in as a sixth man backing up Hammer Wallace and Dudley . Loging as many mins as Hammer if not more. Im looking for a carer high for Morrison tonight as hes going to be moving with out the ball and we need his scoring production to make up for Swish.Carer high from Morrison tonight. The combo of Hammer and Morrison will work well.

^ I'm just not seeing Adam toppin' his '30-point performance against Indiana' tonight.

EDIT: and I've just now realised you were talking about PT up there. :biggrin:

Haha, I wish we had a drum roll emote! Anyways didn't mean to hiJACK the thread, but I'm hoping both Matt and Ammo turn it on tonight, at least we'll find out what we're going to look like without J-Rich for a couple of games.

Morrison needs to walk up to Sean May and spit in his face. Morrison is playin pretty well after just coming off a season ending knee injury. He seems to be getting better game by game and should finish out the year strong. Sean May should seriously be ashamed ofhimself. I see that he play'd more then ten mins last night, I'm sure he'll sleep like a baby.
