After the game against Utah tonight there is no way we let him go. Sure he has injury problems but what if he can stay healthy. I happen to catch the last 5 min. of the game surprisingly on League Pass and was amazed at the score. Sure they had players out but they still had Boozer and Brevin isn't that bad of a backup. Wallace's hustle and that block he made was unbelievable, but it also got him posterized by Boozer. But he has no fear. I know I have posted trading him for a pf but he seems to be the heart of this team. Putting his name out there to see if you could get a blockbuster trade but you have to withdraw it for anything marginal. Felts showed some signs and one mistake but DJ still seems to be forcing the issue. I say we keep our one two punch at the pg and maybe some how we could land Frye, Blatche or Williams without loosing Wallace. He is the key to our future. Ammo wasn't bad either, he's also a keeper.

Management, take notice.
Im sorry to disagree.
H3 was 5-13 tonight, 38% from the field and he had 4 turnovers. What he did was nothing special to be an integral part of any team in this league, Plus of course his inconsistency issues, had AK47 been here tonight i doubt he will get into double figures. HE is a good role player to plug into some holes in other team w/ the awkwardness of his game (in a good way).
I still say we TRADE him ASAP, he is an average player with any trade value in this team besides j-rich. He is the one to go if a solid PF is available in the market.

He is the one to go if a solid PF is available in the market. 12-14 FTs absolves him of his 38% shooting, not that that's putrid, so that's moot. Trade him or not, he brings more to the team than can be quantified. Believe me, Kirilenko wouldn't've made much of a difference....Gerald's got enough strength and heart and drive to steamroll Kirilenko's gaunt ass back to Siberia:bang:
Anyway, I think it's been established that we won't get equal value in return for Gerald. Just for the hell of it, I'd dangle JRich's name out there and see what could be gotten for him. I bet we could get the most value for him than anyone else on the roster....but then again, he's got a decent amount owed for a couple more years, so maybe not. Still, if I'm Rod and MJ, I'd do it just to see....
He is A good Role Player to plug into some loop wholes for a team because of the AWARDNESS of his game (In a good way).
And if he is really that good or better than AK47 how come all news reports say that nobody wants him for his price tag?? And in some articles they even say he's overpaid. NOBODY wants him around the league, he even dangled during his restricted free agency but nobody wanted him that bad. I'm not questioning his value in the city of charlotte bec. he's been here awhile, but as a talent, he just does not MEASURE up to other talents around the league. I hope we can get rid of him soon and get a PF. He is a FILLER player at best just to make do, i think its time to have us a player who CAN.

Gerald Wallace is a great player and there is no way we should trade him. Part of his problem right now is he is forcing offense like many other players on the team. As he spends more time with brown he will get better as he learns to let the game come to him and play to his strengths.
The bigger story form the game aganist the Jazz is the play of Ryan Hollins and Alexis Ajinca. If these two guys can play, and I think they will only get better, we reallly have enough post players. May looked like he was moving around a lot better two. All three of those guys ran the floor very well last night and thats what we need.

Wallace plus a good PF is really all we need. Wallace is a little more then a role player. His roles seem to be rebounds, blocks, steals, dunks, energy, and a momentum changer. His trade value is under rated so we wouldn't get equal value. But Wallace is the heart of this team. What other single player fills the stat book on this team like he does. What two players do it? He has play'd great so far this season, He has done what they pay him to do.
playoffs...PLAYOFFS?

i like wallace and richardson a lot, but we would be better off trading either of them for a solid 4 or 5. we would survive without either of them as long as it was a good trade
no way we trade him, he does a lot of the intangibles on the court. he kept us in the game with the Magic. At first i thougth we should trade Felton, but DJ is playing terrible. He has gotten worse as the season is progressing.
