....but could we trade with the hawks to get marvin williams? once horford and smith are healthy, they will probably relegate williams to the 6th man off the bench role. do we have anything that they would want and how likely would they be to trade to a team that could be their arch rivals. mek-williams would be a sick frontcourt and would appease the unc headz. 6.9.. 240lbs and only 22 years old...... damn.

I'm not sure he could man that spot consistency night in and night out though he's another hybrid like Crash. He's been beasting since returning from his suspension and is loaded with upside they probably wouldn't be to quick to give him up to us anyway.

i doubt they would want to trade him to us and i don't know what they need in return since they are pretty solid all around. perhaps they need a 3pt specialist/shooter 6th man in return. i mean they drafted horford and re-signed smith with williams onboard and he's a bench guy. i wonder if ammo or carroll + may+ 1st rounder would do it. :g: again, i think the biggest hitch would be atlanta having to face a budding pf that isn't even 23 yet for the next decade. it's nice to hope though......

I like it. I posted something about this on realgm in the offseason. I still think he'll be a star, and he needs out of atl to realize his full potential.

This thread goes along with my idea to propose trades for each team we face. Joe Alexander anyone?
Marvin, Ray, May, call up Coach Williams, see where Rashad McCants and Reyshawn Terry are lets roll it out there all UNC, see what happens.
