Here's how hard up the Charlotte Bobcats are for points:
At their current pace (86.66 ppg.) they'd finish with the lowest scoring average in the NBA in five seasons. That would be the 2003-04 Toronto Raptors, who scraped together 85.4 ppg., in a 33-49 season.
It will get better, but perhaps not a lot better. They aren't just last in scoring, they're last by nearly three points per game. And the effect on their record is apparent: They're 0-8 this season when failing to reach 90 points and 3-1 at 90 or higher.
