Danny Granger... Maybe you've heard of the guy.
23.2 ppg, 5.5 rpg, just a shade under 2 blocks per game. He is rugged as hell playing in 253 out of 259 games over his career.

Insert passing over Granger for Sean May tirade HERE.

Enough of that, The Pacers are 6-8 and coming off of a 1 point win against the Rockets. Granger has been ripping it up, but looking at the rest of their roster there isn't much to be concerned about. Marquis Daniels is their 2nd leading scorer :confused::confused:. TJ Ford is giving the Pacers 14.8ppg and 5.2 apg, decent but certainly nothing to write home about and definitely not something that we should have given up Gerald Wallace for when those discussions were happening around the draft this past summer. Another player of interest on their roster is Roy Hibbert, The word is that Big Roy was really the player that the Bobcats had their sights on at #20 in this past draft instead of Alexis Ajinca. He is only getting about 10 minutes per game but I'm looking forward to see what he does in the game tonight. I was a big Hibbert Proponent.

So whats the deal guys? Do we get win #5 tonight?

I was reading a review of the Rookie class, and they had Hibbert as one of the more disappointing so far this season - for what it's worth. We may have come out better with Ajinca, but we'll know in a couple years.

As for this game, I have a feeling we play well tonight. I think our Cats are going to pull it out tonight. 96 - 85.

I see Troy Murphy goin' berserk on the Cats tonight, his last two games...

I shudder at the thought of Emeka guarding him.

I don't think Granger can do the damage Bosh did last game. We should match up well if Swish is back it should be win number five for the good guys. The defecce is getting better by the game, We out class them in the back court with our three headed monster. We out class them at the three with all ways Dare Devil CRASH. I think our frunt court holds down Granger and Murphy, GOOD guys by ten,. with May geting his first 10 point preformance this year,

I was probably the happiest guy on the site when we took May. Nobody knew he was going to have injuries like this. Everybody knew he was out of shape. I thoght playing more games and getting paid would light a fire under him. It may still happen, I'm not confident of that though. Unless we make some serious trades and get at least 2 more big men we'll be the projected number 1 pick next year. Which means ofcoarse that we will have the worst pick in the draft. I pick Indiana by 15. troy, and granger will whoop up on us. I'll root as hard as everybody else on the board, but if I were to bet I take Indiana and 10 pts.

Are there any big guys in this draft? Freaking Nbadraft.net has us taking a SF. If we do that I'll drop the NBA entirely. Unless ofcoarse we trade all of our current ones for big guys....

Sorry I haven't been around much. I'll be more active now. The computer I have is a free one, as well as the monitor, so I shouldn't complain, but it has 32 ram, and 7.85 gb on the hard drive.....POS

Welcome back JonathanMartin7,

In all honesty, I was comfortable with the Sean May pick at #13 back at the time that he was drafted because he was a force during that championship run for the TarHeels.

It just boggles my mind that he has done so little in his time in the NBA.

With Jason out of the picture it all boils down to whether the Cats' outside shots start fallin' in or not. I'm just hoping that Larry will come to his senses and rest Carroll for a couple of games, let him get his composure back through some grueling practice sessions.

EDIT: Cats@Pacers (http://www.atdhe.net/live-tv-896.html), <-- link to a stream, some say it's audio-only, I, myself, am not sure.

Speaking of Carroll, Whats going on with him. I don't get to see many games but the ones i've seen we run the pick and roll alot. Carroll being a spot up shooter should get a couple looks. Is it that he isn't hitting shots, sucks on defense or all the above.?

LB trying to keep it within the spread?

Swish doesn't seem to be that rusty from his layoff.

OT. Great rally by the Cats to get it to OT. Now, just pull it out!

So true davcbow! Let's also give some love to Emeka Okafor. Played a great game and made the shot that got us to overtime.

May's play was encouraging tonight. Liked the way LB stuck w/ him thru the 3rd. It seems like everybody played their role tonight and then some. Big game tomorrow....

Losing to the Bobcats is the worst thing any team in the NBA can do. They're the ****ing Bobcats!

Figures a game I forget to DVR the guys win an (looks like it was) exciting game...and their first road win at that!! That's okay, I'll gladly take a win whether I can see the game or not. It's funny how Mek always gets his 20 rebound games against the Pacers...he just owns the glass against them, and for the most part, the Pacers have been our bitches over the last couple seasons, and it's nice to know things haven't changed this year.

My only gripe is why make Lexy ride pine? Send him to the friggin' NBDL already!!! Also was upset to see Sean May get the start, but at least he got a few rebounds, still....

Jeckyll/Hyde Raymond is at it again, which means the guys better step it up for a "bad Raymond" performance tomorrow night. Looking forward to the game, but not the traffic getting there. Hope as many of you can come will come; I have a feeling it's going to be a partisan bandwagon Celtics crowd on hand.

good win. we've played better lately. nice to see it translate into a win.
quinn buckner nailed it. the bobcats would like to play small.
if we could play like we did tonight on a regular basis, we could hang around .500 basketball. maybe as the season goes along, we can put a few win streaks together. but big teams are gonna kill us.

i dont remember seeing dudly.
vintage crash night. the man is a drama queen
keep playing ammo. he's gonna get there.
may would help tremendously if he was up to speed.
DJ is the future of this team.

I'm guessing Dudley and Ajinca rode pine in the Pacers game since we have a back to back. They will be needed against the Celtics.

spectre
11-29-2008, 09:25 AM
They said on the radio that Duds had the flu.

With the way we've been playing I doubt LB has the luxury of worrying about anything other than one game at the time.

In the beginning of the game was that a block by Adam?

SWedd523

In the beginning of the game was that a block by Adam?

Not only was it a block, it was a block on an attempted 3pointer by a 7'2'' (I think?) Center.

Neither is common, but together? Downright impossible!:o
