View Full Version : What has happened to Morrison? Carroll? Nazr? Dudley?

Morrison, Carroll, Nazr, & Dudley, not starters sure, but at one time these guys were very dependable players off the bench..Morrison just a week a go was scoring 15 a game, now he's struggling to get 5 or 6 pts without having to take 12 shots...Carroll at one time averaged 8-10 ppg...Nazr when first traded here started off with over 12.5-13 ppg and Dudley was one time a reliable 8 ppg player off the bench...Sure minutes have been cut, but have they really hurt them this bad that Carroll barely gets time at all, Morrison can't shoot a lick, Dudley hits bricks all days, and Nazr can't make a shot to save his life...
They equal about 16.5M dollars of our payroll this season and to produce 8 ppg combines is just horrific...
Thoughts?

I think Brown might just trying to get his starters to gel. With Richardson out for a bit, I think he wants to establish some team identity with his starters and then pull the bench guys in when needed. Otherwise, our line-up is too chaotic, with guys not really understanding their role.
The first few games, our rotation looked pretty good, but then things fell apart. Brown wants to solidify the starting line-up now (or, at least, the foreseeable starting line-up) so we can be more consistent moving forward.

yep, i agree..that's probably what's going on. i thought earlier in the season he tinkered with the line up a lot...i'm thinking as sean may gets back in shape he will see more minutes as well..

I agree with that assessment, LB is a very smart coach and he wants the core to click from the start every game. By changing the starting line up each night the starters will never gel....

He started a really odd line up for a lot of the first portion of the season, but it looks like now he's getting back to the groups that can play well together. I think Adam's just getting back in it after injury, now is when it starts to take a toll on his energy level, and the others can shape up, they've done it before.

I like your username bro. ;D
I don't know what LB thinks he is doing with the bench. He is still stuck on having a great starting 5 like he did in Detroit. They really didn't have a bench. But we do...

Welcome to Bobcatsplanet. I have no idea what Brown is doing . It kinda looks like hes cut his rotation down to seven or eight players.
His starters , Augustin, Morrison and searching for that big off the beanch.

If Nazr cant do no better than he did last night then Id rather see Hollins or Lex play those minutes.... Im still fuming over that game, we fizzled it away...

it's odd that nazr hadn't played in several game ..and suddenly he pops in the rotation
i think its all based on matchups...if we're undersized nazr is likely to play..still though, i rather see dwayne jones in there over nazr

Yup. Milwaukee has six guys 6'10" or taller, we needed the height. Hopefully, next time when they bring the height, they'll remember to bring the defensive rebounding too.
