"Sounds" like most had good games. Yeah we probably should have blown these guys out, but the ones who hurt us are young lotto picks who are going to be pretty darn good and two very decent vets in Watson & Smith. Wilcox gave us fits too, but a real PF like we're all wanting would have helped against him.

Much closer than I expected. Great game by Okafor 25 - 13. Crash and J-Rich were solid and Ray was good, but he shot too much in the 4th and kept missing. Very pleased with May and his double-double. Would love to see that on an every game basis. I'd be very very happy with that output from him.

I commented above about your post on Felton shooting in the 4th...didn't want to slip it in on ya since it was on edit. All told for the quarter he shot 2 of 5 and 2 of those misses were layups (block and a miss).

Spectre, I may just be too sensitive to Ray's shooting. It just seems that I always seem to be reading in the 4th qtr "R. Felton misses..." I'm sure that it just jumps out at me and I see it like a bull sees red. But, he does tend to shoot too much IMO. When he has Crash, J-Rich, Okafor and someone else like DJ to try to feed, I'll be darned if at least 1 of the 4 wouldn't be open.

That's one scrappyass team that I can't believe hasn't won more than two games; they play the best off-the-ball defense I've seen anyone play against the Cats. If not for Mek's FTs all night it could've been nail-biting time at the end.

A bunch of school kids throughout the state (NC) were there, so the upper parts of the second level was nothing like Monday. Other people were there that weren't there Monday night so I had to move a few seats over from my usual in order to get my legroom and clear view of the court...overall a huge contrast in terms of my game experience tonight from Monday, and even though I enjoyed my solitude Monday, the kids brought a lot of enthusiasm and energy to the game and made it a little more fun for me, to my surprise....

The gorgeous ball movement continues. One sequence in the 3rd qtr, every Cat touched the ball, and GW drove the lane, and kicked to Mek under the basket for a dunk as the shot clock was winding down....I mean, it nearly brought tears to my eyes, and I had to give 'em a standing ovation on that one: just beautiful b-ball!!!

Extra cool to see the PG I salivated over predraft in RW who is a freakin' defensive beast already and on his penetration really ate DJ and Raymond alive...he's going to be special. Also, seeing Kyle Weaver was awesome as well, though it sucks he didn't get any PT. He met with a handful of players at the half and after the game (Ammo, Hollins, DJ were ones that I noticed) and even Ford and Hanners were talking with him during halftime shootaround. It's cool to know everybody likes the dude, it just wasn't the right fit...but hopefully he'll get his time in OKC and of course I'll be pulling for him as I know many Cats will!

BONUS: JRich was acknowledged for scoring his 10,000th career point during the game, and the crowd gave him some nice love for it, which was really cool.

Such a good team win, don't want to single out anyone, as they were all important cogs in the machine, still, consecutive beastial games from Mek is just a thrill to watch....and his FT shooting...WTF is going on?!?!??! LOVE IT! And seeing a Sean May double/double was ubersurreal...thought we'd seen the last of those for sure.

This winning stuff is pretty fun...I think I could get used to it :cool:
