Whats up with Wallace his last two games hes went a combined
1 of 13 from the floor and a total of just seven points
Even worse hes had just as many turnovers as points seven.
Somthing seems different a rif between him and Brown ? Trade talk? Somthing is affecting his game big time.

tonights stats on Wallace notice Brown only played him 20 mins tonight.

THOUGHTS

Yeah, I don't know what it is, but something is definitely going on in his head. On D, he was o.k. But he was making TERRIBLE decisions with the ball, whether he was passing or shooting. He would just hurl himself at the rim and flip the ball in that direction, hoping the ball would go in. It was bad. I'm hoping it's just some kind of short term mental fatigue.

Either way, Brown let him know that he was not pleased. Brown was screaming in his face.

THOUGHTS Absolutely, dav! I brought it up in the game thread, but after supporting GW since day one, and taking up for him for the last year when people wanted him traded, saying the Cats were better without him, etc., I've pretty much had enough of him. He's really been a douche this year, and lets himself get taken out of games if a play here or there doesn't go his way. I loved how Larry took him out in the 3rd (and I guess he didn't see any action in the 4th----I was on my way home by then, so I didn't see) because he was pissing me off also.

I think it's just a matter of him not getting calls, and he's pouting, which leads to forced shots and TOs. Obviously he needs to get his ass in gear, or he won't be long for the Bobcats I think because if the last two games have shown us anything, it's that the Bobcats are not nearly as close as I thought to turning this thing around after consecutive wins, and that means changes are more likely to occur.

That's how he plays all of the time, but when he faces a formidable defense it looks really bad or out of control. The gift and the curse of Crash.

THOUGHTS

You.

Just Kidding man, but seriously players have a bad game every once in awhile, so it'll be fine.

This may explain (http://www.charlotteobserver.com/bobcats/story/399021.html) why Gerald was mentally out of it during last night's Cavs game

If Gerald Wallace seemed out of it against the Cavaliers (one point, 0-of-6 shooting, four turnovers), there was good reason. I heard after the game that there was a death in his family, and Gerald found out not long before the game. Gerald will likely spend some time at home in Alabama, so don't be surprised if he misses one or more segments of a 3-game road trip to Miami, New Orleans and Dallas.

Let him have some time....there are more important things than basketball. I'm curious if DJ starts and they push Richardson to the 3 because that is what I would do.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Crash and his family. That would certainly explain why he did not seem to be into the game. Perhaps LB told him to play the best he could, and realized Crash just wasnt with it and let him sit. Very understandable.

My deepest sympathies go out to Gerald Wallace and his family at this time. A death in the family is a hard thing to endure, hang in there...

When i started this thread . I knew Crash wasn't right , but had no idea why . Now i wish it was just a rif between him and Brown . My prayers and best wishes go out for him and his family. In his time of need.

that would really piss me off if larry brown knew about it and was still yelling at him all game for "not playing well"

Wonder if this death was the result of a progressive illness, which would explain GW's slightly-off "attitude" from the beginning of the season (ie. more cantankerous than usual). Still, the Cavs game was the worst he's ever looked here, and now the reason is known, and I take back at least 60% of the venom I've spewed at him since last night.

EDIT*********

Well, just saw on the "may and wallace not in lineup" thread that it was his grandmother. Shit. Having lost both of mine, words can't begin to describe the pain and misery of losing a grandmother (or any grandparent, really, not to mention parent) and how it sucks to go through life without them. He'll never be the same, and my thoughts are with him. EVERYTHING I've said about him I take back. The fact he tried to go out there and compete, probably to honor his grandmother......just no words....

I'm with you 100% on this one. I've lost all my grandparents and it's very painful and I miss them tremendously (especially my Grandfather, who died 8 years ago) to this day. And always will. So, like everyone else, my thoughts and prayers are with Gerald and his family at this time.

Wallace has never been that good of a shooter. But even with his personal loss he has play'd hard and we wouldn't have won without him.
