I will say 10-15 FT attepmts from D. Wade tonight and out of those 10-15 there will be 4 legitimate calls by the refs.

The heat are under sized so maybe if we play good quick D we'll have a chance.

Cats are still falling behind slightly in the Reb. department, though high FG% is keeping them ahead.

we look decent, but as we all guessed the calls all go against us.

Just throw your body in there and get fouled D-Wade, this is crazy

That's right Alexis, use that sky-scraping quality of yours.

If we could slow D-Wade down and rebound we can steal this one

tamburello
12-08-2008, 08:45 PM
Once we were down by 8, however we did a good job in coming back, we're only down by 3. Although we couldn't stop Wade and gave too much offensive rebounds, I'm hopeful about the second half. DJ and Shannon were pretty decent.

Wow, D-Wade doesnt even have to do anything.

Is there a reason why DJ isnt playing much?

Maybe because Felton's been covering Flash some for Swish and we need Swish's offense? He'll probably get at least half the 4th.

I can't remember the 1st match-up but this might the most selfish team we have faced (or at least Beasley is).

I can understand the superstar calls but that was so late that the ref should be brought in for questioning.

Nope, another tight loss on road. I'm tired of losing games because of lack of clutchness.

im tired of losing games to some pretty blatantly shitty calls. We talked in another thread about wades preferential treatment. And oh how it fukn showed tonight

This one leaves a bad taste in my mouth, I said Wade would have 10-15 FT attempts.....he had 19

Heartbreaking loss. J-Rich played well, but those two missed FT with 30 sec really hurt. Okafor was very solid! Ammo was very productive for the minutes he played. 6/25 for our PG hurt isn't too good, but they had to try to score to make up for Crash being gone. Oh well, they fought hard which is all we can ask. I'm not upset with the effort put forth.

Nope, another tight loss on road. I'm tired of losing games because of lack of clutchness. That's how I feel. The Milwaukee game bitchslapped me into reality about what this team is about, and how it's the same Bobcats we've ever known, so this one tonight didn't really hurt all that bad.....it was expected.

The JD block call on Wade was a sham in the worst way, but it was just one play, and the team still had plenty of chances before and after the call to win this one. JRich can definitely put up the points, and is a phenomenal scorer, make no mistake, but he just isn't clutch, folks. If it wasn't bad enough he missed the two FTs, why the fuck did he foul when there was an 8 second difference in the shot and game clock?

"Choking" wins away is kindred to being a Bobcat; it's like some sort of genetic defect that was present in the team from its inception, and 4+ years later, with a few new faces, it continues to infest the DNA of those that put on the Bobcats jersey. I commend Larry for all he's done, and for putting the team in positions where it can win, and for looking, generally, so much better as a unit on offense, but he can't go out and make the plays, so alas, welcome to the interminable futility that is Bobcats basketball: enjoy the ride :(

When will we get a break? I guess we are getting it now considering everybody is healthy. Which lost hurt the most, Cavs or Heat?

Holy shit ESPN2 just showed Wade banging on Mek that was crazy

When will we get a break? I guess we are getting it now considering everybody is healthy. Which lost hurt the most, Cavs or Heat? Neither; Milwaukee was the most heart-wrenching by a long shot. That one should've been the third consecutive win, brought some confidence into the Cavs game, and maybe propelled the team into a successful season. Instead it's the beginning of a long losing streak that's going to kiss this season bye-bye.

BobcatsAllDay
12-08-2008, 11:08 PM
Well this is the end of a 5 game stretch that I really wanted the Bobcats to go 4-1 (I was expecting the loss to come against the Cavs or Heat). We end up at 2-3 with upcoming road games that are complete long shots w/ or w/o Crash. Missed out on an opportunity to stay with the pack...uphill battle, if there is a battle at all from this point

On the other hand, how bout those Panthers? Now that's a team the area can get excited about! Why couldn't I be as big of a football fan as a basketball fan?!?!? Oh well, go Panthers! Go Bobcats! At least one of you has a pair. ;)

All day I was thinking "Awesome Panthers are 10-3, 301 yards rushing, DWade to the rack, is he in the circus? Foul? No, no, NOOOOOO!!! this is my Panthers win the Super Bowl day dream!" I can't shake it no matter how great the 2nd half against the Bucs was last night.
