maybe they just wanted to see what Jones had in an NBA situation. Maybe if he was the answer they would have dropped the Howard talk.

I think it's a lot more common than you think. A lot of teams will give a guy a try for a month or two and then release him if he's not especially helpful, giving a shot to another guy who might contribute.

When you're in as bad shape as we have been at the 4, it's pretty understandable: you keep trying guys until one helps.

In the bobcats pregame show they mentioned juwan howard but they made it unclear as to whether we were considering signing him or had already signed him. Does anyone know?

We will be signing him tomorrow from what all the reports say Dwayne Jones is expected to be cut...

Good, I haven't seen anything special in Dwayne Jones so far. However, Jones is at least youthful whereas Howard has been in the league as long as i've been alive.
