With all the trade discussion mumbo-jumbo I reckon people have forgotten about tonight's bout with the Mavs. Winning this one is out of the question, so my hope lies with Adam and Alexis using up their minutes to the fullest, that is if they get any.

I don't think there is a reason to start Sean May apart to stroke his ego. I would rather see Alexis starting (he would be better in guarding Dirk than Sean would be that's for sure) or even some Nazr apperance along Emeka (does he have any future with us?).

No the trade is already finalized and official, but they were in LA last night so they we're flying in til sometime today and their participation in the game was questionable, so they could show up, but its unlikely...They should all practice tomorrow and then play on Saturday..

i know...we just lost Jrich...but i dont remember seing fast breaks like the way RF and DJ are doing right now..

RF is used to this type of up tempo from his days at UNC...not sure about DJ, but he is athletic and conditioned enough for it

Well I've said all season that Okafor's offensive skills were underrated, and With a few games of 15+ ppg and a few in the 20's he showing it....

the key is consistency...mek has the athleticism to play like this..i think he plays better when facing the basket... but still, he lacks touch

i would love to see mek step it up like this every night..he has the potential, he was awesome in college

The storm has passed here, I'm on a land line and it's dragging for me too.

Mek is showing he can deliver the goods...now everyone needs to keep looking for him. Last game (or the one before) he started out great and then everyone forgot about him.

If only his D wasn't so spotty. He gets beat a lot and seems to lose his man on occasion. Larry Brown will make him improve tho.

Still think Bell will be starting and Felton will become 6th man (tho with plenty of minutes).

Tougher defenders... and I have been concerned about the dudes back as he had back issues ever since he came into the league which I think hurt his agility and elevation as well.

this teams needs to spend 2 hours a day each player shooting free throws , unaceptable misses by Mek and RF

Well Augustin is over 90% from the line....we do have one player who can hit the clutch FT when the other team fouls at the end of the game....that is if we were winning the game

Same old Bobcats result, but much better effort than last night. DJ made a late mistake, and too many TOs in the 4th (consecutive unforced by Shannon Brown), but with the change in the air, these "same old Bobcats" losses in the clutch will be less frequent, I think.

Anyway, much better showing than last month against the Mavs, especially from Mek!

Mek went 1 for 2 on that last trip which put us down one...Dirk gets the big rebound on the other end...if we get the stop on that possession and go down and score we're up one...bottom line we didn't finish the defensive possession despite the miss FT by Mek

Thanks for the insight Beagle. I feel a little better about the 3/16, but just a little. I imagine the back to back was draining on DJ. Get a nights rest and regenerate and play like you did the last game DJ.

I am deeply proud of the Boys tonight, I didn't get to see much of it, but I made sure to keep up with the PBP of the game tonight and I'm was very happy on how our team did minus over 40 points missing...When Wallace, Diaw, Bell, & Singletary I think it'll help the team even more...Physicals are tomorrow and once they all pass, they'll be playing on Saturday, Larry Brown's already announced...I'm excited and happy so far..If Okafor can keep being a force like he was tonight, I'll be even happier..
