I was looking at his game logs this year and I made this stark yet I think pretty obvious realization that the coaching staff and the PGs should know about as well.
Here are Emeka's stats when he attempts at least 10 shots in a game:
20.3 ppg, 13.4 rpg, .694 FG%, 8 games
Here are the same exact stats when he does not:
8.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg, .485 FG%, 15 games

Um...can we please give the man the ball A LOT MORE! We always complain about Emeka not being the 20 and 10 guy that we thought he was gonna be when we drafted him but how can he get there if the does not get the freaking ball??
They have gotten a lot better at this in the month of December (so far he's attempted at least 10 shots in 5 out of 7 games). We are 2-3 in games where he has attempted at least 10 shots and the three losses were by 5, 4 and 5 points respectively. The two games where he didn't attempt at least 10 shots? We lost them by 20 and 16....
