After watching the last two games one can tell all the hard work put into Hollins is starting to pay off. Hes became MR. energy off the beanch . And played a nice part in cutting a big lead tonight. Hes kinda like a light bulb is going off and hes really starting to get it. Hes becoming a inside force. Has any one else noticed his inprovment?
Alexas by season end Bobcatsplanet fans are going to be happy with this pick . I see inprovment ever time i see him play . The kid is just 19 if he keeps inproving at the rate he is now hes going to be solid by next season. Im starting to really see why Brown likes him so much thoughts?

Agree on both accounts. Ajinca looked like he could really play tonight and not just be 7 foot jump shooter. Hollins, of course, was terrific.
Neither of those guys is winning any grace awards. However, they were both getting it done tonight.

He's too modest to say it, but dav called it early in the 2nd half, maybe in late 1st half, that putting Hollins out there would help the Cats cut into the lead. Why it took Larry so long to do, I don't understand, but I hope he realizes what Hollins can do for the team at different junctures in the game, and he gets a more signifcant role in the rotation.

As an aside, MT talked to Lexy earlier today and told him that he has a big fan in yours truly, and that he was surprised but excited, and that there will be a Lexy/Beagle meet up happening soon. If I don't turn into a little girl and go all "oh boy, you're cool, mister, can I have your autograph," I'll mention the BCP to him and that he can drop by any time.

That would be cool, since the drafting of Alexis and even moreso since the Diaw trade, there has been some consistent traffic on BCP from France. So it looks like some of their French peeps are following them through this site :)
Guys I'm just thrilled to be wrong about the blowout I expected...and the first 3 quarters (although looked like I would correct in my prediction I'd rather be wrong) were not pretty for us I still want to know why our bench (which contrary to many I happen to like) has not been used effectively before the last two games...I still don't get it...but it was a competitive game that we needed against a talented team (that came in here with something to prove) that barely escaped being beaten...
With all the coaches in the league being released I think Curry had better start looking over his shoulder 'cause J. Dumars (even though Detroit pulled out squeakers) can't be happy with the way his team is not closing out games...
...and thank goodness we have a bench that can play...

LB mentioned Hollins by name in the post game, saying that he was begininning to carve out a niche on the team, and was playing well enough to begin getting minutes on a more regular basis.

I think we should all be happy about this...EO50 has been dangerous when Ryan has played with him...I think it will help the team and EO50 in particular...

Last year I kept wondering why Hollins and Davidson didnt get that much playing time. I knew that they were not ready to contribute at a high level consistently, but thought that by playing they would get there faster. I was upset at first when Davidson was the player cut instead of Hollins. It seemed like he was more composed and understood things a little better, but Hollins has that athletic ability that coupled with him starting to understand how to play, makes him very capable of contributing to this team. After seeing the way he is playing recently, i am happy to have been wrong on this one. Hollins, and Ajinca, when given time will both be good players i think.

Hollins is legit. Dont think he is ready to be a starting center or anything, but he really has an impact on the game when he comes in. Him gerald and dj saved me last night from another miserable game, and almost got us the W
Ajinca does get better everytime he plays, but he is still really really raw. I hope it pans out

Agreed with both comments. I was one who was asking to cut Hollins early in the season. I had no idea he could learn to play ball! I guess that's what having an actual coach does for a player. Still, I hope he continues his improvement for what he opens up for other players.
As you said, Ajinca continues to improve every day. As far as I'm concerned, he's next year's 1st round draft pick. So, anything he does this season, any experience he gets, is a bonus.

I think Atlanta matches up bad with us if we play big . We should control the boards on both sides. I would keep two bigs in at all times and play Diaw at the three . Mek plays so much better facing the basket . Its no reason he shouldn't go for 25points and 15 boards if we go big . Switching Alexas , Hollins , Nazz, And jut let mins flow due to how welll each is playing , We should be a big starting five if Diaw plays the three.

I love watching Hollins play; there is very little finesse and he is lacking some basic skills but he over comes that with raw athleticism and desire. If someone would teach Hollins and DJ how the Pick and Roll is supposed to work they would be a major force off the bench.

Alexis is going to be a better player in the long run but Hollins is more ready to play right now. Hollins plays to his strength and he is a nasty dunker around the basket. Alexis can become a lock down defender with his combination of strength and mobility. I bet thats the first time T.Prince has had sombody that big come check him on the perimiter. Alexis is still inefficient on offense but the shots he tries have a very high degree of difficulity. On the left side of the basket he usually fakes over both his shoulders and does a turn around fade away that is yet to go in. It looks extremly quick and fluid though and usually the shot barly misses. On the other side he usually dribbles in two deep, gets stuck and has to kick it out or turn it over. If he ever gets his confidence going he will be dangerous.

I think if we trade Felton to portland we HAVE to work it so we get Nic Batum. Then the team will make significant $$$$$$ by sending B-Cats games to French TV stations. :p

I was already thinking that Bobcats should be in NBA Europe tour in preseason sooner or alter:)
