Brad Miller=too old.
no me gusta
The article is pretty clear he has no (or little to no) interest in defense anymore...and I agree 100% on the too old...I'm not really sure how much gas he has left in the tank either...

"(The losing has) definitely got me down a little bit," Miller said. "There's no denying that. It's tough. Last year we were always in games, and I think it's just tough on everybody losing so many close games where we could – realistically – be at 10 or 11 wins (entering Friday). I think we've had five or six one- or two-point games. Those are the ones that really hurt, and it makes it tough."
I REALLLLLLY don't want him now. They seem to be in the same situation we are losing a lot of close games. If he's disheartened over there... do we want him here?
NO....but that is my opinion...frankly our FO scares me!

I'd do Miller/Salmons for Crash/Hammer.
I think a trade for Miller sets up an "oil and water" situation between Miller and LB...I'm not sure (I don't know) that LB would sign off on it...but who knows...

Isn't Brad Miller's name "Brad Miller's Expiring Contract?" I stole that from my evil nemesis, I'll admit but there is something to be said for expiring contracts and the summer of 2010. There were also rumblings about the summer of '06 '07 but nothing really happened in the way of large free agents switching teams via free agency.
He will be an expiring next season...12.25 million...
