HA, all these teams are just trying to keep up with the Bobcats. We fired our coach BEFORE the season!

I think the league is on a record pace...at this rate it may very well be a record in the "never to be broken" category...

Who do you think's on the "can't cut list?"
Off the top of my head, I'll go with:
Brown
Jackson
Sloan
Van Gundy
D'Antoni

Pop.
I'd say Byron Scott too. There was that one rumor that he and Paul wasn't getting along (and we know who'd go first between those two) but I doubt that's true.
I'd say Doc Rivers for sure...
It is utterly ridiculous that so many have gone.
I could see Cuban firing Carlisle if they don't start winning, Porter could go, Dunleavy, Jim O'Brien, Iavoroni, and Nelson if he keeps up losing. But I would hope none, since this is way too ludacris

I think it is already past absurd...not a good year to be an NBA coach...and with some of these teams (Thunder and Kings) in particular you'd have to wonder what the heck they were expecting?

Anyone who was in middle school in the early/mid '90s knows Reggie has a place to call home:

I remember Anthony Anderson but that first chick, the one who played with the guys was pretty hot and she looks familiar like she's been in something recently.

Nice, BigCat.
So, basically, there's maybe 8 coaches that have job security, plus maybe the current "interim" head coaches. That means over half the league's coaches are still in danger of being on the chopping block. I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas started sucking it up and Cuban canned Carlisle. I guess it's just easier to get a new coach than to get new players.
So, who do you think is next?
I bet if Cleveland hits a skid where they lose maybe 5 of 7 games, then Mike Brown is gone.
If I had to guess I'd say Carlisle is a high probability and Frank in NJ if they hit any type of lengthy losing streak...and the interim's are all game to game (whim of the owners)...
Interesting read...K. McHale gives his take on the firings...

It's amazing and ridiculous that when Eddie Jordan got fired they said he was the 3rd longest tenured coach in the league behind Sloan and Popovich. I can't believe it, are these just bad coaching hires? When is the last time a guy left the college ranks? Can you think of a "hot" coach? what's the deal?
hot coach is doc rivers
deal is $$$$
bing!
