Since the chances of the Cats making the playoff is pretty slim right now, that means we keep our 1st round pick we traded away for Frenchy right?
What are the chances we can draft Stephen Curry. He's a pure scorer, thats exactly what we need. He's smart, Can move to the PG spot, He's 6'3, sounds like a perfect fit for this system. Curry offers way more then i've listed but i think it's a good topic to bring up

I wouldn't mind having him, but I don't think he's worth signing a petition over. There could be much better options on the board.

I really don't want to draft anybody who has a "maybe" connected to their size or athleticism. That's been a trademark for the last few years. I want guys who are no brainer NBA players now.

I would want Harden over Curry, especially since his defense is questionable. That would give us two undersized guys in the backcourt that aren't good defenders (yet). That's not how i would like to see this organization try to improve.

At what lottery pick, and we will be in the lottery, do you take Curry? I hope we luck out, get the #1 pick and take Griffin.

Ew, no. It's enough I have to deal with all the tarholes on this team, bring in the Davidson anti-christ and I might just stop being a fan all together.

God willing we get the #1 somehow and find a way to draft Griffin. Please God!!!

hell no... he's not what we need. we have a small very efficient scorer and dj. big sg (oj mayo would have been perfect) or pf (michael beasley). blake griffin would be amazing. DJ should be our starting pg right now. ditch felton

DJ
SG
Wallace-> should be traded soon anyway, move diaw to SF
PF (Diaw should move)
Okafor

Stop being silly, If he can help us win what does it matter what school or state he is from.
Anyway Ya'll are kinda missing the point, I wasn't sayin if we get the 1st or any high pick that we should just out right take Curry. I'm guessing the chances are low we get about 7 or 8. Thats what the draft on ESPN.com has us at. I don't know much about the guys coming out next year, but i'm not sure it's the best class to pick from. So if he falls to us He might be the best pick on the board for us.

Curry is 6'3 185 why do ya'll keep calling him small?
I want him at SG not PG

Im with you there. I am a Duke fan and it has been hard seeing all these Tarheels on this team. They are everywhere. But, i have to admit, i never had a problem with Felton, or even May when they were in college. Felton is still ok in my book, but get May the f*&k outta here.

Curry is a small dude. There's no debate about that. I'm sure he's generously rated at 6'3''. There's a reason why he went to Davidson and not an ACC school (he's small. And yeah I know he grew about 4 inches once getting to college).

He's small, 185 is tiny. Only guy that small to perform well in the NBA for any length of time is AI. I love Curry's game. But unless he's abnormally strong (which he isn't) for his size and becomes a solid defender then he's too much of a risk for us with a defensive liability in DJ already. We need a solid, big, tough, SG to back up DJ for the future

because he is not 185, hes probably 170. he isnt a great athlete and wont be able to hang with bigger sg/pgs on the nba level defensively without that athleticism.

people were worried about DJ's defense and i would say he is the bobcats most athletic player

playoffs...PLAYOFFS?

Curry takes a million shots per game for Davidson...not sure i'm a fan of this

He IS Davidson

I would throw the computer out the window if we draft small again.

We need a legitamate big man, and if there isn't one availible at 7-8 trade the pick and our excess for one...Stephon is great now but just like Hansbrough, not NBA material.

Allen Iverson has sure made a good career as an undersized 2-guard in the NBA, especially when he played under LB in Philly. People have been doubting Stephen Curry his whole career (no one except Davidson offered him a scholarship coming out of high school because of height/weight), so I think he can take his game to the next level, and have great success. He is constantly moving around the court (like rip hamilton) and can get his shot off quicker than anyone I have ever seen.

I would LOVE to have this kid on next year's roster no matter where we select him, with the exception of #1 because of Blake Griffin.

I will quit being a fan. I'm 100% not joking.

I will boycott the Bobcats until he is gone.

Curry is 100% not 6'3". I've seen him from the front row at Halton arena, he's more like 6'0"

espn released its lottery mock draft simulator
im know its not a great predictor since the percentages to win will change and you never know how the picks are gonna go but at this point in time i did it 20 times and these are the people it gave us
Demar Derozan 13 times
Hasheem Thabeet twice
Blake Griffin once
James Harden 4 times

So i guess ESPN thinks we need a scorer pretty bad.
I know DeRozan was talked about as being the next OJ Mayo but he has disappointed so far.
But if he can pick it up and play like the scorer he was supposed to be.. you never know

thoughts on DeRozan?

almost forgot
i like tyreke evans.
thoughts on him?

A.I. is athletic as hell though and deceptively strong which Curry isn't I Iike his game don't get me wrong but the Cats need to get bigger.

I weight 185 pounds and i'm far from tiny, Most of you hated on the idea of DJ getting drafted... oh he's too little this and that...Now you've jumped on his dick. When will you learn it's talent that makes your career in the NBA not your damn size. What can Curry do? Score? What do we need most? Someone who can score!...Stop bitchin about stuff thats not important. Now with that said...We do need a big. Diaw is helpful but maybe not enough. Frenchy has a future but it's not bright right now. But the people your talking bout drafting do they fit with the team or do u just like them? Who has to go for them to play? Who has to ride the pine so they can see game time? Not that this team doesn't have people badly needing to be rotated

I say all go for Curry. Most mock drafts have him going at 4, but then again they had us taking one of the Lopez brothers :).

Next year's starting line up:

DJ, Curry, Diaw, Odom, Okafor (I'm basing the 3/4 positions on a potential trade that is floating at the moment).
