Correct me if i'm wrong but Morrison has no injuries or sickness or death in the family he has been dealing with lately, So why isn't he playing? He got 5 minutes last night didn't play in the game before that and basically has play'd very little in the last 5 games. Morrison has been productive this year coming off his knee injury. He has shown signs that he could be a good scorer coming off the bench, So why isn't he playing? He hasn't been that bad on defense, He seems to hustle when play'd....Does anyone know the problem between LB and Morrison?

You aren't wrong. Larry is having a hard time making time for everyone. Adam has looked good on D and in the open court. Adam is never going to be one of those guys who just goes off and saves the day, he doesn't do well at creating his own shot. He's fine, just not exactly wedging himself into the rotation. Matt Carroll and Ammo are basically the same dude, defense is getting better for both, open shots they're usually dead on from 3. We'll see if he could get in there but he's not lighting the world on fire.

I hate conjecture, but it could be the team trying to showcase Carroll for trade purposes.

idk.......it really ticks me off when we have only like 4 guys come off the bench and is all because of LB the man who traded J-Rich >:(

i like to think that this is the reason..

it would be stupid to just let Ammos contract expire and not even play him to get something in return, he still has an upside..we could get something from him if we are to trade him

I agree on both points. Who is the best team in the league missing a spot up 3 point shooter? Is it like Kopono going to Miami?

Carroll and Morrison are both good just not what we need right now. I mean where do they fit in the last 2 games which were wins? Would the cats play better with both getting minutes or Morrison in Carroll's place?

Because Adam has sucked it up on the few occasions as of late where he got playing time. He has been missing his few shooting opportunities and his lack of athleticism only hurts him.

i have to strongly disagree
BEFORE his injury i would have said i agree with you (as with sean may)
however, looking at it AFTER his injury i think its quite the opposite.

when he does play larger minutes, his shot seems to be way off and he isnt productive on offense. i had high expectations for this kid (again, same as may) but i think massive knee injuries have derailed them so much that it is impossible to bring them back on track

it is a shame

I'll preface this by saying that I'm an Adam fan and that I'm pulling for him. But he is currently a player who's strong suit is as a scorer, but he is only shooting 37.5% from the field. He needs to get that worked out before he gets heavy minutes.

i think he needs the minutes regardless...how can he come back from an injury and be expected to be back to normal without the minutes?

i wonder if it has to do with his performance in practice...still , i've never heard LB criticize him

He and Carroll are similar players and if Carroll's contract is as untradable as some believe it is, the team has more invested in him for the future which could provide the impetus for him to get more playing time.

I tend to believe that either, as I stated previously that Carroll's being showcased or that LB recognizes that splitting time between the two was not being beneficial for either of them. They had no chance to get into the flow of the game and he may feel it's better to play one or the other (barring some serious sruggles). Ammo got some run with Carroll on the bench earlier (perhaps because LB prefers him) but as Ziggy pointed out his shooting wasn't great, leaving the door open to give Carroll a similar test run. With both of them coming off the bench, there's not enough minutes to play them both, and either we'll see one of them traded or one of them claim that reserve wing roll and the other will be relegated to spot duty.

In his rookie year, Adam moved around a good bit and found ways to score. This eyar he seems to just stay in one place and looks very awkward when he has the ball. What happened?

It seems he's not cut out to be an NBA player.

By NBA standards he's mentally and physically weak.

He gets flustered when he misses shots.

He can't defend anyone.

He's foul happy.

He's slow.

He never seems to be able to hit shots consistently, though that's supposed to be his strength.

He can't create his own shot.

He get's blocked easily even though he's tall for his position.

He can't score around the basket.

When he happens to be in a rhythm he's an average NBA scorer.

When he's not he's worthless to have on the floor, and that seems to be more often than not.

Larry Brown's figured this out and he's not playing him.

^ He has a mechanic dribble (awkward looking, but in a way effective), has improved his defense by a long way, has a great feel for the game and is excellent at making things happen for him, plus, he would make a welcome addition to the team if he chose not to abide by Larry's instructions so strictly because, let's face it, he's no spot-up ball-launcher. With steady minutes comes steady production.

Oh and what was the deal with that ACL tear last year ??

Show some love for the players on your favourite team.

Larry Brown's figured this out and he's not playing him.I am with you. People I really wanted to give AmMo some time to shake loose the rust but when he looks lost and seems unable to contribute to the team Larry Brown has no choice but the sit him on the bench. AmMo looked good for a while early but I think his biggest weakness besides no athleticism is his fragile psyche. The guy is way too soft to be an NBA player. He may be one of the biggest bust in NBA history. I am no AmMo hater but I see things for what they are.
