I just got back from the Warriors game and I thought it was interesting that, given we may be dealing with the Warriors, Ronny Turiaf sat down next to Larry Brown at halftime for 5 full minutes, chatting and laughing.

I had looked back on December 10th at who'd be available in the list that could be traded under contract and thinking of Larry Brown style power forwards his name had stuck out.

Seeing that tonight...well it made it more real. Then, it clicked, OMG, he's French too. Ajinca, Diaw and Turiaf.

So for grins, I type in to google..."Turiaf Larry Brown"
and here's a link for ya...

Interesting.

Turiaf is overpaid too. Maybe more than Maggette considering the ratio of their production/the money they earn. But Turiaf would be helpful to us more than Maggette. However, I can't think of a fair deal to acquire him.

Diaw, Ajinca...turiaf.

OK, and why not adding Pietrus, Parker, Petro, Batum, Mahinmi, Noah and Diawara, in order to rebuild the French national team?

With Twiggy playing well and the signing of Howard, unless we can get good potential like Wright I think...if we're dealing for another backup like Turiaf would be...I'd lean towards another player like Diaw.

We lost the game last night because Boris got into foul trouble. Not knocking on him for that, but it's obvious this team needs that 2nd guy with court vision/passing in the lineup (prbly why we play DJ & Felts so much together) and it needs to be a 3/4/5.

Of course Crash wouldn't be in the discussion to acquire said player, but for the right guy I'd move any of the other usual characters. No one really comes to mind, but as that sounds like the consumate Larry Brown type of player maybe he has some ideas.

He damn sure seems to have been smarter than most of us on the Phoenix trade.

I forget Fred Weis that has been drafted by the knicks 10 years ago.

He is still playing in spain, for a good team and some time for the national team..... I am sure you remember him, but,if you don't, it's the guy under carter:p

Is that better or worse than being thought of as UNC-Pro?
