Rick Bonnell is doing a good job today, reporting that Raja Bell is unlikely for tonight, and that if he plays (which Larry probably won't due to reinjury threat) it would probably be a few min off the bench to see how it feels.
What are everyone's thoughts on who to start tonight. Per Bonnell Larry is considering Sean Singletary of DJ going small in back, or Matt Carroll (not bad as he is better if he starts).
I personally would rather see something along the lines of this:
Felton, GW/Diaw, Diaw/GW, Okafor, Hollins. I know GW is not a 2, and diaw is flexible but on the 2 might not be his best place, but there was a game last year where we only had 8 in uniform, I think felton was out and GW started on 2 and played the 1 most the time because DA couldn't play more than 20 min. It was an exciting game (not sure who against because my memory is not so good, but I was there).
On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing Sean Singletary play, but maybe not as a starter yet. He did well against the nets though and from what I've found he was quite good in college as well. Also, let us not forget Shannon Brown is a good 1/2 guard.
Your thoughts?

DJ, Raymond, Crash, Diaw, Okafor - most probable.
Ray, Ammo, Crash, Diaw, Okafor - something id like to try out before completely writing off Ammo , but wont happen.
DJ, Crash, Diaw, Ajinca, Hollins - The run and gun, alley oop try to rip the rim off everytime lineup.

Yeah I'm 100% for that run and gun type of offense tonight considering the competition. I don't know that DJ can keep up with his ankle. At Saturday's game he told me it was about 85% but that was a few days (but doubtful any rest as he is still practicing).
I hope Larry moves Bell to the actual inactive list, so he has more options. I agree with not writing ammo off yet, it bothers me that he's not getting 5 min per game when we've got a lead. Its the only way to see how a player will play. I look at Wallace, who was a late pick by the Kings and say to myself "When will Adam do that..."
I'm recording tonight's game as Tuesdays I'm out, looking forward to see how we do.

This lineup brought a tear to my eye with simply picturing all the circus that'd be happening on the court. Charlotte Duncats.

It's been confirmed that Bell is inactive tonight, and Carroll is the likely replacement on the 2, as DJ isn't capable of 40 minutes tonight and I doubt they trust Little Sean for more than 10 min/game yet.

I like your idea on lineups. I'd especially would love to see the rip the rim off every time lineup.....

I emailed my blog to Ziggy late this morning, I doubt it's up yet but I had similar thoughts. I'd like to see that Hollins line-up. I'd like to see a lot of guys get minutes. Hell what about Shannon Brown? He's the "BOOM" on the 12 minutes thing. Tattooed, do you go to games early for shootaround, sit low or what? How did DJ tell you he was 85%?
I'd like the defense that Hollins allows, with some speed behind his big wing span and speed. He gets out of position and excited on half court d and commits too many fouls. My opinion is if he is out there, he and the PG (Felton, DJ or SS/SB) full court press, because he's so quick if he gets beat he can get back. Behind them we need whoever else is out there on the 3 point line at the top of the key, whether it's DJ at the 1 and Ray at the 2 or Shannon at the 1/2. I just see Okafor protecting the paint, Diaw on the more athletic Forward (Bosh/Dirk type or a good SF) and the Hollins/Combo Guard duo taking care of the 2-3 guys trying to control the ball from inbounds to half court set, Gerald (assuming he could quit going for every steal) could handle the 2 or big time scorer.
Sounds complicated but imagine the confusion it would create against NY, Chicago, Milwaukee, Miami, Toronto any team that relies on a standard PG brings up the ball and slash and cut and spot up 3 defenses. In my mind, it works but I'm not a coach or even a defensive type guy.

I generally get in the arena about 30-40 min before the season ticket holders due to some connections and a less than security ridden door downstairs. Anyway, I spoke with him for about 2 minutes before he went on the floor for shootaround. Him, Shannon and Matt are by far some of the coolest guys on the planet too, DJ even pointed out his father to us in the stands, he sat on the aisle between 103 and 104 about row J or K.
This is the first time this season I'm taping a game, that's how awesome I anticipate it being. Should have recorded the game on Saturday though, I was 2 rows behind the score table and my wife and some other family were 2 rows behind the cats bench making Ajinca laugh.
Pray for a good showing tonight....

That's awesome man, makes you feel more part of the game when you actually get to interact with the players.
