Charlotte Bobcats at Milwaukee Bucks 1/2

The last time that we played the Bucks, We had Jason Richardson and Sean May in the starting lineup. That seems like 100 years ago doesn't it :).

We're playing much better ball that we were when we matched up with them back in early December. With the way that our team is currently constructed we've gone 4-4 over the last 8, unfortunately for us the Bucks have heated up too going 6-4 over their last ten.

Suffering through the finish of our last game was like having to eat a crap sandwich... Come on Bobcats, don't make us eat another one tonight.

Thoughts on tonight's game.

If only they could close a game. We play great for 42-46 minutes and then everything from practice goes in the crapper... I am seeing less and less Ham Biscuit ball though, i.e. 3 pointers or long 2s with 18 seconds on the shot clock. How that works for the Knicks I dunno, but we need to get inside. We seem to win games when we have 50+ points in the paint and at least 15+ assists.

I'll be watching this one and praying...we've got a long way to go to .500. Maybe he should try the lineup that almost stole the game against the pistons.

Adam in a shooting slump? Dont you have to have been a good shooter to be fairly construed as falling into a slump? I think it is more of his typical NBA career so far. I think the few games his Rookie year where he shot well was by far the exception. I know I'm being fairly harsh on him, but I think I am at least being fair and accurate.

But I agree with Bobcats by 6. Start of the New Year with a road victory!

Everyone just imagine where we'd be today if they kept the biscuit around. We'd probably have drafted Ryan Anderson or someone else who went late with our 9th pick, not had a 20th at all, still had J-rich, and maybe we would have traded Dudley for some team's junk because he never got played (like Hermann).

There is always a silver lining. We are 2-3 new players away from pulling up to 50%...

I can't even guess on what will happen tonight. The Bobcats need to take the Panthers nick-name for a while. The Bobcats are the true Cardiac Cats...They usually get blown out ,fight back, then lose in the last seconds on some wide open 3pt or lay up. We as fans get soexcited watching them fight back only to have our heart broken in the last few minutes.

This guy says it's the busiest night in the NBA. I guess with every team playing yeah, can't get much busier than that. Bell out, Hammer in? If the Bucks jump out to a 10 point lead in the first 5 mins i'm going to start to really have a problem with that decision. Also, I disagree that Bogut plays well against Okafor.

I don't know Milwaukee doesn't scare me much but neither did NYK. Alright, we need this. The New Jersey game gave me a fit, and then hearing about the NYK game didn't help. I'm able to watch tonight (channel surfing had a link - hopefully it's more than just audio), and the Bobcats should win for that reason if for no other reason.

I was screaming when I went to watch it on TV. I called DISH network and waited for 20 minutes...I told her I am a Bobcats fan, season ticket holder and live 20 miles from the arena...why can I not watch it...

No real answer whatsoever as she has no clue and she gave me no recourse. I emailed my ticket rep. after they emailed me today asking for STH loyalty its odd to repay us with not being able to watch the games.

Further I hate when the games is on 446 in HD and 447 in SD and I can only watch it in SD and its blocked in HD...waddup with that.

This is all irritating. I mean who knows to even look up 447 ALT...uhh...and they wonder why viewing is down from MYTV12 and the locals that used to have it. Oh well.

I'd like to see Ajinca get time because thats the only way to learn. I haven't been a fan long enough to see Ammo play a good game...but he impressed me during some times I was early in the arena and he was taking half court shots without jumping (knee still healing and the like). I dunno, everyone but may needs in on the rotation, our best games this year have had all 12 active getting minutes.

I agree with that. LB seems to be robbing shooters of confidence. It's hard to come in with1 minutes or one play with rhythm. Or maybe they just don't work in the system at all. It is odd to see Matt & Adam play badly. They're not superstars, but they don't suck either. As much as people rag on Adam he's made difficult shots and can light it up. His confidence seems to be the biggest issue. He hangs his head all the time, slumps his shoulders, scuffs his feet and passes up open shots. It's sad to watch. Matt always seems to stay up and plays hard, good shooting or not. His rhythm seems off this year though. He always plays better with more minutes though.

I agree about ajinca, why not? I lik when the twin towers of Hollins and Ajinca come in...that's interesting if only for a few minutes it breaks up the other teams rhythm.

That game was by far the worst thing I've seen from the bobcats in at least 50-60 games. I don't know where the weak link was other than to say everyone was weak...

I did find one major positive and one minor one... On the minor side Okafor had a double double (which we expect, but i wasnt sure he was going to pull it off tonight). On the major side, every single active player got minutes, and eeryone but Ammo got points.

The 23 TO and 25 PF are what killed every ounce of hope we had. We allowed 28 points off turn overs.

the radio guy after the Knicks game said something like it helped get them back in the game then interviewed lil' sean and he said oh yeah it feels good to play that fast pace and stuff? wtf? i feel like we're doing the "building a car" analogy where the engine is out of a '76 datsun the wheels are all too small, the steering wheel is very loose and you might run into things and the back seat is waayy too squishy and lumpy. There are parts from all over the place and they were good when they were at the dealership but don't match together on this car. Oh and we have 2 parts somewhere on there from a fiat.

Normally Beagle revels in humility, but when the team is sucking as bad as it has been, I need to gloat about something, for crying out loud!Well, I didn't get the idea today too, I was surely we'd miss him but tonight I got a good smooth sopcast link ( thx Relaxtv) and it was so painful to watch. At least we got to see Alexis a bit (with Emeka and boris on court interesting frontcourt). We have almost no perimeter defense and Felton next to DJ is non-existent on court only ocassionally takes a shot or make a safe uncreative pass. And when he is on court without him he is not helping the offense much I would say he slows it down unless it is a fast break.

Hmmm. I didn't feel embarrassment. But I did feel real dissappointment. Its games like this that make me wonder why I bother.

It was a sad showing by a sad team.
