Well, he didn't say anything too bad about us. He has to put a happy spin on the trade. He'll be a Sun for a while unless traded again. I dont think he said anything to anger his former teamates. If anything, I think it is a shot at the mgmnt of this team from top to bottom of which he is referring.

Yeah, I agree with Ohara. I didn't read that as Dudley hated the guys or the organization so much as an endorsement for an obviously better organization. Besides, I don't expect a guy to have a whole lot of love for a team when he only played there a season and a half.
Although, I do think it's funny that he mentioned the training staff in particular. I wonder if the Bobcat trainers are a little miffed?

^ They shouldn't be...I think it's pretty well known that the Suns have one of the best training staffs in the league.
Agreed with DNB & Ohara; it wasn't bashing us but instead him just being glad to be with such a class organization. He even called us "an OK team"...which could probably be up for debate.

Yeah, but nobody likes to hear they are inadequate or inferior. I don't know. I really don't think it's that big of a deal, but if I was a training staff guy, I might be thinking, "What did I do?"
By the way, being "ok" is definitely debatable. I think only Washington now has a worse record than us in the East.

I imagine it's more on what Phoenix is willing to spend on their staff vs. what we will on ours.
Wasn't it just Joe Sharpe and a big rubber medicine ball our first year?

Let's loan May to them and see if they can get his fat arse back in shape...

Better yet, Brown could have a new goal for May.
"Yo, Sean. I forgot to give these Team Jordan headbands to Jared. I want you to run them to him in Phoenix and run back."
"Cool coach. When should I fly out there?"
"Fly??!! I said run, Sean! RUN!"

"Fly??!! I said run, Sean! RUN!"This would be arisky way to delvier those headbands. Sean's contract could expire before an arrival.

And cheese doodles. Quite frankly.
I guess maybe I was wrong, but what I was upset was that he'd be willing to barely play at all on a good team than be a 6-7th man on an ok team...hed only be behind dj and hed have more minutes than ammo, nazr, ajica, brown, may, howard, carroll and maybe bell

Dudley seems to be a very upbeat and optimistic guy; I can't imagine him saying anything intentionally negative.
I hope he sees great success wherever he plays; though I wish it was still here :P. He needs to find a team that can use him and it doesn't appear that Phoenix is it. It's possible that this is just the beginning of a journeyman career for Duds; but for his sake, as he gains experience and toughness, I hope he finds an NBA market that appreciates his abilities. I thought we might be that place; but nope.
