8pm kickoff tonight

The boys are back in the postseason I'm so pumped up for this 8pm can't come around fast enough. We own a victory against them in the regular season which was a offensive shootout w/ very little D being played. I'm praying tonight is different with our Defense bringing their A game especially against Warner who could pick our secondary apart w/ his passing. I'm thinking we'll make a statement on both sides in a 30-17 victory.

Could be 27 to 30, wouldn't matter, just hope to see us take it. 14:10 left on the early game and Baltimore is up a hair... Would be something to see the powerhouse Titans go down so early... Kinda like if atlanta beat boston last year :)

I agree completely. I could go out there and do better than this scrub. Let's play worse okay panthers? Let's let Fitzgerald catch everything and not take jake out when he plays like a damn loser

WTF???

I go watch at halftime (Bobcats) and watch us score on the opening drive...7 to 0. I then go check the game after we beat Washington and the score is 27 to 7 with 2 minutes to go to the half???

What an ass kicking.
Tonight Jake Delhomme has been an embarrasment.

Happy birthday Jake! I hope you get a great big steaming bag of shit. You embarassed yourself and the team tonight. Have fun celebrating later!

I've seen enough of Jake's overthrown balls & picks to realize this should be his last game as a Panther. Such a great season gone to shit because he folded when it mattered. Honestly McCown or Matt Moore probably could have played better fukk Delhomme.

Not only 5 picks but also a stupid fumble. Jake has accounted for all 6(!!!!!!!!!!!) of our turnovers

I can't just place ALL the blame on Jake when our soft ass secondary played horrible coverage on Fitzgerald why/how was he wide open so much? You would think after ge tourches you a couple times our Defensive "coach" would put double coverage on him.

We need a QB, coaching staff changes & more playmakers on D

We need a new QB, keep Jake until we find him but we need a new QB, someone forgot to tell jake our jerseys were black tonight.... Also we need a new defensive backfield, DB's and saftys.....

Through most of the game, Jake completed more passes to the Cardinals than to us....Utterly pathetic

Jake Delhomme just wasted a beautiful season for the Panthers; in particular DeAngelo Williams, Moose, Beason, Stewart and Steve Smith.

I hope this was his last game here.

Sitting in a cool, on-again off-again breezy rain watching your team tank a season before your eyes was not as much fun as it sounded. Other than the profanity-laced tirades cascading around me, the near brawls in the stands, and the eccentric folk sitting near me and my uncle, this was a complete waste of time. So much wasted potential; such a disappointment to the fans who were dying for something to get excited about/ be loud about...but fuck it, let's turn the ball over again and let Fitzgerald beat us by himself with no adjustments made, and never pass the ball to Steve, etc., etc.

At least the Bobcats won; still....what a waste :(

Some Notes:

This was Delhomme's second worst performance (QB Rating-wise) of the season. Both of these terrible outings came after a week off.

From ESPN-"We didn't do anything, and you know before you go on the field that if you don't play well, you are going home," said Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers, an unrestricted free agent who declined to say whether he wanted to return. "It didn't happen for us today and we've got a long time to think about it."

Moose is 35 years old, thats a lot of miles for a WR. If he comes back next year how effective will he be? If he doesn't, who's our 2nd receiver next to Smitty?

Will we draft a QB, namely Tim Tebow? We all know John Fox loves tough guys who play smash mouth football, Tebow fits that mold. I think Delhomme has had enough time to win a SB here, he's apparently not what we need, so let's see if we make some changes in the offseason

^Agreed he's had plenty of time fact is Jake is an average QB, who is inconsistent I swear I don't know what I'll do if the higher ups choose veteran loyalty over what's best for our future. Seriously you can't win with a top 3 Rushing tandem & arguably the most feared wide receiver in the NFL & a #2 with great hands (Moose) what more does a QB need?

That can't be good.

That can't be good.
If Delhomme makes Peppers so pissed off that he doesn't want to return, I will never pull for the Panthers again until Delhomme is gone for good. Peppers is the best defensive player we have. Jake is NOT the best offensive player we have.

Interesting about Peppers IMO he's not our BEST defensive player (that praise goes to Jon Beason atm) I want him to stay but if he doesn't want too I'd shop his ass for 2 1st round picks (Pick up a QB/DT) & use the money on CB Nnamdi Asomugha we need a player in our secondary that is feared. He's the only guy I've seen shutdown Smitty one on one & he's a free agent.

I still think it's Peppers. He's been here long enough and played hard enough to where he's earned that position. Beason is amazing, yeah, but he doesn't have the longevity that Julius does

I Hate Jake

Without Steve Smith and Moose, Jake would be known as one of the worst QB's in the NFL. That guy is reckless. He just throws the ball in the general area of a receiver and hopes they catch it.

However if Jake played for the Cardinals he would have gone 5 for 5 with 1 hand off.

most notably
All-Pro defensive end Julius Peppers saying he wants to jump ship.

Thanks for destroying the team Jake!
