If this has all ready been discused sorry i didn't see it. Bonnell states he sat Wallace out most of the second half of last game due to lack of effort.
Ive never seen Wallace play a whole game with out a shot.
Could this be the begining of the end for Wallace in Charlotte . Has any one heard any thing about a rif between Wallace and Brown .
Your thoughts as to whats going on.

I think he was trying to make a point about trading him... Just my thoughts.

I didn't watch the game. Did Gerald play flat and not run? No energy? I can't imagine Crash with no energy. No shot attempts in 20 mins is huge.

Honestly he played "different" I almost would have thought he was an oversized PG the way he caught, looked, passed instead of catch, drive, basket... It felt like he was "trying" not to play..and when he was interviewed after the fact he said he didn't know why he was pulled...

Crash with zero shots it has to be truble brewing behind the seans.
I just hope Brown don't trade him for some ones garbage because they are clashing heads.
I all so hope this fires up Crash and takes him to the next level. Im thinking thats what Brown wants. Brown has done this sort of thing his whole carer .
I don't want this to escalate

I referenced this elsewhere the other day. I think whenver you have a Coach call out a player in such a way, it clearly shows there are issues brewing. I think this basically forces us to think about trading Crash now, as there can be no good come of a Coach and star player having a serious issue. It's not good for the team, and needs to be rectified if there is a rift.

Who knows, it'd be nice to get inside and ask them. Sounds like Bonnell was leading him when he asked if he knew why he was benched then told him, Gerald's response was a little weak. I'd like to see how he said whatever he said...We'll see in Detroit.

I think this story has been over hyped, Wallace by far has been the most reliable player every day every year. Thinking bout trading him is not a good idea. Wallace did seem a little off the other day but thats one game. How many games has he made us jump out our seats and cheer? LB was just doing what coaches and teahers do when they think you aren't giving your full effort. Thankfully we still won the game.

I agree that this story is over hyped, and is a pretty weak blog from Bonnell; basically, typical filler. There hasn't been one team in the league where something similar to this hasn't happened already (or won't happen). There's already been one story about how JRich and GW were being rubbed the wrong way with Larry (I forget the thread and the source), and there will be more after this one; it's part of being a student of Larry Brown's. Not at all newsworthy.
