Well here we are another Tuesday game that I can't watch because of bowling. Let's see, we're down our 6th man and future First man DJ Augustin, against a Pistons team the is likely to be down a starter/6th man. Rip Hamilton has missed 8 games with a groin strain, but is listed as a game time decision after practice yesterday. Rasheed is back for sure, so Emeka and Diaw will have their hands full.

All of the above said, let us not forget how our bench brought us so close to winning after being down almost 30, and that by the end of the game it was our bench (and DEEP bench including Ajinca and Hollins) who brought us back to striking distance. I'm not looking for a "moral victory" though, I want the W, and I look forward to seeing/hearing Lil Sean match up against the closest player in the league to his type of game in AI.

LETS Go CATS....Remind Pistons that we made a better trade than they did this year...

I don't like all this Sean Singletary is AI talk. I know its just used for comparison but i think we are doing what we did to Adam and setting him up for failure.

lets see what hes got for a couple seasons before calling him the Answer.

but Go CATS. lets get a win tonight. Have that same attitude and flair you had about you in the Boston game. don't let these big names intimidate and scare you into defeat.

I very enjoy when I see you're all so optimistic. I try everytime to be the more realist as possible, and I think it will be a hard game. But I obviously hope they'll make it.

We all feel that if it weren't for some bad luck, bad calls or whatever that we'd have an 82 win season :) Let us dream and dream big

If we play smart ball, and we have our FG% above avg, which happens once in a while, then we have a good chance at winning. But this is one of those games that we win if we shoot over 50%, or get blown out by 30 and shoot 33%. I just hope for the former.

I think Big Sean will take both seats 2 and 3. As for seat #4, I'm going with Matt and his achilles being the 3rd inactive player.

Stuckey can sure shoot. Didja see that rainbow over Diaw?

BTW, wasn't that a nice hook by Diaw for the 1st basket of the game? Dude has some very silky moves.

I think he spins and twists so much because he has to work so hard to get to his right hand.

That's also the reason he puts up those reverse backwards layups back over his head (like that 1st shot in this game) IMO.

I trust what ever LB thinks on the matter...

I'll definitely stand in that crowd myself... BUT what I think is being overlooked is that over the next season or two the salary cap and tax line are going to drop due to lower revenues for the NBA as a whole. This means that some teams who have players on escalating contracts will be more willing to part with better players to keep salaries in check. I think there are going to be several moves this coming summer that appear to make no sense, except for salary reasons. If we lock into a high $ long contract we cant trade we may put ourselves off the market for one of these players. It's already been covered by ESPN that Hedo T. on the Magic will likely need to be moved to keep their salary in check... That'd be huge for any team to pick up.

Then I will say, contracts aside Diop will play at least twice as good as Nazr... I would say 10 min/game for 4-6 points and 4-5 reb and a block. He is very good on the D-end. I'd be much happier with the trade if we got Green on Dallas too...A decent SG would help us out alot.

but he had 6 assists, 2 steals, 4 reboudns.

Guys...look at the stats page. No one other than Felton had a "great" night scoring wise...so you know players had to contribute in other ways. Diaw drew attention which made things easier, and as Playoffs said he'd have had more assists if others could catch and finish.

Raja let his guy get by him some, but all during the game I saw him make some very opportune stops on AI, esp. in the 4th.

Crash caused his usual havoc, and Mek...tho not having a stellar game...still forced them to deal with him in the paint and he scored in other ways.

We beat the fucking Pistons in THEIR house...and they've been playing very well. This isn't beating a team when they're in a slump...this is putting them IN a slump.

I'm so damn happy I can't stand myself!

He has by far the most trade value on the team when you look at talent, salary and upside. If Boris contract was a little more cap friendly he would give Ray some run as far as trade value but his play this year and durability makes his trade value sky rocket, IMO.

Yeah, the fact that we were down what 9(?) in the 4th and short-handed w/o DJ, great win. I thought we had a chance b/c we continued to cut the lead to 6 or 4 and we finally got over the hump. I think we slowly reaching that respectable level at least in the East. I'm very interested to see where we will be at the break.

I know many of you are down on Felton but he has had to endure a trade and he has seen this team improve around him lately. The team is playing well and in that time Raymond has played well. Yes he makes mistakes but he is more to the benefit of our team than a hindrance imho. I am not sure we shouldn't keep our core and try to improve after the year. Spectre, I'd go so far as to say this was the biggest win not only of the season, but in franchise HISTORY! I've never seen them win a game like this: on the road, against a top tier team, down by 7 with 3 minutes or so, making stops when necessary, converting on the other end when necessary, and ending with a near-buzzer beater!!! Just what a statement win!

I thought Raymond had played his best game ever against the Celtics; then he fights through the Wiz game; and now this masterpiece. Nobody with any common sense has ever questioned his heart, his spirit, his desire to win, but to see these qualities carry over into such a fucking clutch-ass performance!?!?!?! So damn happy to see Raymond, of all our players, be the one to knock down the money shot; he has more than earned being able to be called a hero.

A masterful TEAM win otherwise, with Raja struggling with his shot, but hitting the only one of his shots that mattered!!! Goddamm brilliant defense and rebounding in the last 6 minutes as well from everyone....Raja, Raymond, Boris, Mek, GW. Tears almost come to my eyes thinking about it.

Just a bloody brilliant game, and what a lead-in for the unofficial BCP Night Out this Saturday against Portland trying to get that elusive 3rd consecutive win. Jeezus, what a game....

This game most definitely is a top notch game, well played, well executed by most, and undoubtedly the best 4th quarter of basketball i've seen from ANY team all season. It was also a meaningful confidence builder, I mean if we can beat the Celtics here, and Pistons on their court (which I think I heard them say on the radio we're 2-8 at their house) that's great. I still think my fave game I've seen though was us beating the Celtics at their house last year...I think they only lost 4 or 5 at home, and one was to us, great way to make up for that Ray Allen bullsh1t the previous game.

I'll take the Boston game for best game of the season, but that was awfully close.

Definitely good to see Ray (or any of our players) hit a game winner.

Besides, it's much easier to just go ahead and hit that shot rather than play a whole OT period.

I'm quite hopeful that the Boston game this year can be the "season ticketholder of the game" moment for a few more people. If i hear "triple overtime victory against the Lakers" once more, i might lose it. i missed that game...not fair.

I wasn't a fan yet (of the NBA or the Cats) so yeah I hear ya with that one...I've got a "most hated moment" something about a 3 putting a team up by 1 with no time on the clock that we won't live down for 20 more years (or until we beat that team in the playoffs)
