I don't want this to be political, so no "he shouldn't have been elected" or any of that garbage...I just want to here who watched the ceremonies, how much you watched etc... I mean wow, it started at 9 this morning and was still on when I switched on the Nuggets game.

I kept trying to watch it, but as we had our first meaningful snow in years my girlfriend wanted to go out and "play" in it, which was followed by a good long nap;) I missed most of the ceremonies

She said if I wanted to witness history I could check up on it on Youtube. What a girl

That's pretty funny, you must be on the east side of Charlotte (or in Raleigh) as here on the river west side we didnt get nuttin but a dusting. Don't mind tho, as last time I saw "significant" snow it was 4 feet ;)

I actually live just south of the border in SC, but nobody would know where it is so Charlotte is the next best thing:p

We only got about 4 inches, 4 feet would be awesome!

Watched a bit of it. Wish I could have just tuned in for his speech. There was a lot of blah blah and parading, as you might expect. Still, it was a pretty significant day.

Snowed here too...I play'd also. I watched alot of it. It was great seeing all the Happy people out there. Not like When Bush was elected...there were riots and people throwing egg's at the limo. It was a good sign for this country. I think people over sea's seeing it felt the same joy as the america people. That is a very good sign for us

Coming back to this a few days later, he has done more in a day or two in office than most presidents get done in the first 100 days.

Yeah, he got right to work. There's so much that can be done and needs to be done, so it's great that he's taking it so seriously.

And not taking a vacation.

Yeah, not taking 5 months vacation in the first 6 months.
