All you (US Based) Cats fans who can't get the Cats for one reason or another rejoice, Tuesday night's game against the Lakers is going to be televised for all of america. http://www.nba.com/FanNight/ I voted of course, but I'm sure more Lakers fans voted...but we can dream ;)

Of course it's because of the Laker fans.
It'd be great for them to vote for this game only to be beaten.
it ould be awesome if we beat them, but we do have a chance if Bell's defense and Diaw's offense show up

I'd like to see bell give us his typical anti-Kobe performance, maybe a clothesline, that'd be cool...
I'm not sure we'll win, as much as I'd love to, have we beaten them at Staples Center? I've only been a fan (of the NBA) for a bit over a year or so...but I'd love for us to win, I'd be happy enough for us to just compete... Just glad the lakers are towards the front of the road trip :)

This will probably be blacked-out in the Carolinas, right?
The Cats should beat them on national television. In LA.
This plan is fool-proof.

I'm not sure, I don't think NBA TV has to follow black out rules.

Ok so here's the game plan:
1) Activate Sean May
2) Have Sean May "accidentally" fall on Kobe
3) Have Ajinca tell Pau Gasol, "I hate zee paella...eet ees like zee garbage"
4) Pau tries to fight Ajinca, which leads to an ejection (we can spare Lexi)
5) Crash gives a Greg-Oden-Nuts-In-The-Mouth Dunk to Andrew Bynum
6) Cats Win!

I've said the same thing give or take the last few marquee games... but at that point I said "send lil sean out, an "accidental" kick to the nuts, F1 maybe, but <insert star player> wont play right the rest of the night... Now with only 2 PGs for now, I'd say Lexi would be good to do such a thing.
We could also show Lil Sean the video down below, and hopefully he'll get motivated. This is Jarret Johnson of Anderson University, he is a 6-3 PG...I like :)
I still can't fathom that's not a charge, but I guess that coach is practicing his calls so if he gets pulled to the NBA he can ref a game against us.

We have actually given the Lakers a lot of trouble in the past. Be great to pull off an upset on national TV.

BEST. GAMEPLAN. EVER!
it is most definitely blacked out on NBA tv. It already happened once this year.

i wonder though, i think FOX SS has the rights for all the games..so NBATV may be blacked out, which doesnt help those who can't get FOX SS

You mean all of American that gets NBA TV. Charter in Upstate SC doesn't get it. Again, the number of games we can see this year is still going to be ZERO.

I think we will compete, lakers have wierd games where they will blow out a team thats really good (clevelend) and then ill see on the bottom line they struggle with some teams that arent so good. I think we can definitely compete, but raja needs to keep his hot shooting, boris needs to stay outt foul trouble vs gasol, and mek needs to keep finishing around the basket. It would be awsome to see us beat them and headline sportscenter with another upset of the best!

Just glad the lakers are towards the front of the road trip :) We've won the last two there for sure. We should've beaten them in Year 1, but BK couldn't knock down 2 FTs to seal the game, and Kobe hit a game winner to beat us. Can't remeber what happened Year 2.

I am not so sure how 'national' NBA TV is.
It is a channel you have to pay extra to get which means not everybody gets it.
I think it is a huge injustice that 2 teams with a COMBINE win total equal to ours (OKC and Washington) get on regular TV (ESPN/TNT/ABC) and we dont.

I think this is the most important game in the small history of the franchise. ESPN talked more about us winning than the team we were playing losing for the first time I can remember. If we can go into LA and beat the Lakers people will finally stop thinking about us the way we think about Memphis and Oklahoma City.
This one game can change the perception of our franchise and make the rest of the world (besides France) finally pay attention to us

I agree 100%. On the flipside, I hope we DO NOT play the Magic or the Cavs. We do not match up well with either team. Will keep faith and root hard if we do end up facing one of these teams, but i dont see it ending well for us.
