To be honest, DJ Augustin had lost his all chance after his injury. Adding Eric Gordon's improvement to this made DJ expendable at guard position. It's a shame that this year's rookie guards are really something.

In the end, you kinda knew that D.J. had a chance to get shut out of the rookie game this year... but comparing the numbers of D.J. and Rudy Fernandez plus the fact that Rudy is participating in the dunk competition? Come on yall... >:(

It really sucks, but being injured we can't really say much. If he had been healthy and putting up near same numbers with some development I'd say he'd had made it before Rudy Fernandez....
