You know what? If I were a kid GW would be my hero.... Said he laid in bed half the day and watched cartoons on the way back to Charlotte.... We need to find out what his favorite cartoons are.... I only hope he dont try to come back too early and end up getting hurt worse.... GW is da man for sure....

I think if he comes back anytime soon the emotional boost he could give to the team would be amazing. We need you Crash

Agreeded , Hes one more tough dude .He all ready wants back on the court. Attitudes like his and Feltons are very rare this day in time. Those two guys have such a love for the game. I really wish May would take a lesson from those two.

Amen dav amen.....Id really love to see May come back and play to his true potential, now if he can do it remains to be seen....Or will he be the next one we try to trade?

I don't think Gerald playin so soon is a good idea. His rib's are cracked, that hurts. Crash bangs into people, He's not a jump shooter. I think he needs to stay out till his rib is fully healed. He doesn't need to hurt his career just so we can win a few games.

Agreeded but just the love for the game is so rare . He wants to play with a broken rib and a lung not any where close to being healed . As we have had players playing hear in Charlotte not playing because of a hang nail [Rush]

Bonnell's blog:
Gerald Wallace (broken rib) rode a bike on the sideline, then did some light shooting and running, wearing a flak jacket.
The problem, Wallace said, is even the most demanding workout can't replicate the sprinting, stopping and starting that gets you in game shape.
"The bike doesn't give me much of a challenge,'' Wallace said. "Drills are drills – you just try to get (as close) to full spend as you can. But the tempo of a game changes so much.
"In a drill, you know where to go and what to do. In a game, you have to react'' to whatever happens
He's coming back. He might ought to rest, but he and the team are still thinking playoffs.
What a great player we have.

GW is in a class by himself as far as the "warrior" mentality is concerned... I'd just hate to see him come back too early, take a fall or another elbow and toss his career out the window....That would suck worse than signing May to an escalating NBA max contract for 6+1(PO).

I don't think LB or the Cat's organization would let him risk his career. At this point they have to much invested in him. They see when's he's out that this team isn't the same. He's had alot of injuries, But this one is hopefully like a Iverson broken ankle, meaningless. AI is the only person to compare his heart to in the league. I just want Crash to be healthy before he goes out there, He means to much to the team.

Damn it, I miss Gerald even more now...:( For the pleasure he's brought the fans, and the example that he sets on the court, the organization needs to go ahead and hang his jersey in the rafters and retire 3 even though he's still active. He is Bobcats basketball!
Oh, and I love the image of him watching the games over at his in-laws in LA...that just brought a huge  to me.
