View Full Version : Umm... Who's our 2 while Raja's out?

What the topic says. We just traded away what many believed to be our options at the 2 while Bell is out, but what now? I know Felton will probably play there a lot, but who's behind him? If we are going to bring in a D-Leaguer or an over-seas guy we need to do it fast.

I figure we'll have another deal in the works (possibly involving our ol' Bench Blubber), or we've zeroed in on a potential d-leaguer. There's also the possibility of a Felton/DJ backcourt, though I'm not fond of that. Cartier Martin could start, Larry Brown liked his stuff and said so in the last postgame.

What it boils down to is this: this team has tremendous depth issues, and it's not something that's just now coming to light...we could all see it...but the injuries to key players like Crash, Bell and Howard that magnify the situation

How about May for RaShad McCants? The Wolves are shopping him (not getting playing time with the coach), and most likely they will want just an expiring contract back. We could also send cash or a 2nd rounder. That would immediately solve our problems at the 2.

Depends on how long Raja is out and how long it takes for DJ to blow the rust off (he looked pretty bad against the Hawks) but I assume we'll see a lot of DJ and Felts at the 1/2..................which is a worry because that means more of "Lil Sean" on the court.

IF Sean the Little could get on the court during the non-critical parts of the game (when we are up by 5-6 points in the 1st-3rd, garbage time in the 4th) then maybe this will not be so bad. But i think we need to raid the D-League, or the Euro-League.

We could start like this:
DJ, RF, Cartier, Diaw, Mek... then we could move into a second unit like this:
Lil Sean, 2, Diaw, Juwan, Diop.. Its hard to see where we'd cover the 2 spot, maybe some mins with Lil Sean and DJ, or Lil Sean and Ray (I'd like to see Ray on the ball and Lil Sean shooting). Or run a big lineup with Ray, Cartier (his outside shot lends to him playing 2 okay), Diaw, Rad/Juwan/mek, Mek/Diop. Tomorrow's game will be something to see though, as Rad is not going to be there and Adam and Shannon are on the plane by now...so it like we basically have NO true 2, and almost nothing at 3...I hope we just turn it on for the heat.

It's a huge concern. Right now we're looking at Felton and that's it for the 2. Even tho he's not what we really need I'd do Fatass for McCants as he at least fits a position of need.

He'd be at least as good as S. Brown and his contract ends after this season too.

Well, I really feel they aren't done trading yet...I don't know who is going to be traded for who cuz I'm not good at guessing all that like everyone else is but I really feel they aren't done yet

I think McCants could come in and not need much time to adjust. Play him next to Felts and they'll be fine. They have all that history together and I can't help but think that they'd both be a little better playing next to eachother

I heard from my friend's, sister's, mother's,cousin's, father's former room mate that We're going to trade May, Nazr, Felton and another player who I'll tell you after there are 300 posts on this, for a player who wears a 23...:p

This trade works and we have a vet pg to spell Felts and Dj. We get a legit 2 in McCants, another athletic swingman in Carney, and we get a big expiring bench player for cap issues next year. The wolves get a center who they can play alongside Jefferson which allows him to rotate from the 4 and 5 with Love. Something is brewing thou because no way we leave ourselves open like that at the 2 for a significate time. This would be the perfect time to make the move seeing that all star break is around the corner and none of our players are there gives us a few days of practice to break in the new players.

that'd be great if they'd do it. I don't think they'd even give a second thought to a deal like that

ON that note, doesnt it show you how little power he has in his life that he really feels like he can hold trade rumors over the heads of people he does not even know. Im guessing he is a trash man, janitor, or more likely jobless. and not because of the economy because hes lazy and spends all his time antaginizing people he doesnt even know with rumors that have been true 66% of the time, and the Vlad trade barely counts because my phone alerted me about the same time he posted.

If it IS Sean May, then it would explain how the guy types...because his fingers are greasy from the 50-piece McNuggets he was eating and they're slipping on the keyboard

But if so, i would be wrong because, unfortunately, Sean May HAS a job

Holy shit man! How many times are you going to make me stop what I'm doing and post just to commend you on your comedy?! I can't keep doing this! You've got to start writing humorous articles on the site or something.

Also, it would explain why there are so many extra letters in each word, because his fingers are so fat he can't just hit one key at a time.
