The first Sonics game I ever went to Hersey Hawkins scored the game winning point against the rival Blazers. I was 9 years old and I will never forget it.
After about a year of not even paying attention to the NBA because I was so mad about the Sonics leaving. I think I am finally over it. The hardest part is to pick a team to root for. I never thought that I would have to do that. The Bobcats are a fairly new team, and you guy's already got one NBA team taken away yourself so it feels like the perfect fit. Actually, it's the only team I ever considered. I went through all the teams in the NBA and this is the only team I think I could root that would most resemble the feeling I got from the Sonics. I would feel stupid being a Celtics fan or something like that.
Next year i'm going to get the NBA package and follow this team every game. I miss the NBA too much, and sports in Seattle can't get any worse so losing is something I am already use to. I'm not at all the kind of fan to switch teams, i've never done that in my life and I never will unless a Seattle team is taken away.....again. Even if Seattle gets an expansion team i'm going to stick with the Bobcats. I'm a fan of teams more than anything. So after all my rambling I just wanted to say I look forward to watching this team and again getting that great feeling of competition in the NBA.
And for the future I appoligize for bad grammar.
