OK time for us to get past these injuries and put a Win on the board to end the Leagues longest current losing streak and finally cross the 20 win mark. Should be interesting to see what mix of players and rotations are out there as even with the injuries this should be a winnable game.

I am heading to TWC Arena in a bit for the game but lets get the pre-game banter going :)

Damn, we need a win tonight. It's still going to take playing all 48 minutes... just like we needed to do the last two games.

This will be a full 48, full 53, full 58 or god forbid a full 63 minute effort for our team... Hopefully Putin can play and probably start and we can shift the line up to something like Felton, DJ/Cartier, Vlad, Diaw, Meka... That could/should work with our obvious bench order.

Lets go lakericksuncats :)

I think Radman will be a bit more careful when he practices a bit more...he had one TO that was totally his fault as Nazr I don't think was expecting it...but I think the practice will help...

and Raymond with 3, Okafor already has 7 rebounds...and DJ gets the foul on the shot...

Not sure if that was sarcasm or not, but despite hearing all the talk about how bad his defense has been, it isn't too bad...one of his 2 turnovers really wasn't his fault...and he hasn't practiced with the team yet so you can tell he's still not use to the style of play...but I still like it better than Morrison...

Seriously...

Start Felton/Bell/Wallace/Diaw/Meka...which is good for 12/15/18/15/15 points for say 75... Then you've got Vlad who can put up 10 off the bench, DJ with 15 off the bench, Diop, Juwan the rest of the bench combining for another 10-15, we could actually be one of those 100+ ppg teams :)

Nice to see a win, i was at the game and i can tell you it was REALLY boring (and i love to go to games), the arena was at best 30% full perhaps less than that and no energy at all.

I dont know how it looked on TV but it was a terribly messy game. Our defense thru most of it was terrible and if the clippers were not so awful we would have been screwed.

It was nice to see Vlad get a good start and i think we will have a solid team if we get everyone back and healthy. Next year is looking good.

I'll be back there wed for Washington, i hope it is a little more exciting than tonight was. At least we got a win

Observations:

Could have been a fun game tonight if the Clippers had come to play. As it is; they didn't. I don't think I've ever seen a team with so much talent stand around so much. I thought Eric Gordon was about the only guy they had that gave a crap. I liked DeAndre Jordan too though. Man, that kid looks like a player! I sort of wish we'd taken him over AA.

Very laid back game, but fun to see the Bobcats get an easy one. I've got to admit this 5 game losing streak has taken the gas out of me for sure as its pretty certain there will be no playoffs.

Watched Gerald Wallace warm up before the game. He was shooting jumpers and looked smooth doing it; lifting his arms with no apparent problems. He did have some impressive body armor around his upper chest.

We about choked on our nachos when "Sean May" got up to check in ... I couldn't help blurting out OH . MY . GOD but there he was. So during one scrum under the rim I could've swore that was "Sean May" in the middle of it flat-footed and covering his head. :) Some guy a few rows behind yells out "Jump next time Sean!" and then during the ensuing free throws while Sean's facing us along the free throw line, the same guy yells out "YOU WANT SOME ICE CREAM!" It was a quiet moment, and from the look on Sean's face I'm SURE he heard it. At the next time out, "Sean May" was observed standing up sweating profusely and gasping for air. "Sean May" seemed to get over it in short order however.

I had a conversation with my ex-ticket rep and I told her there's no way the Cats can trade Raymond Felton and she looked at me funny and mentioned he's going to be too expensive....I said maybe but there's a lot of love for Ray out there....and man I could see it on LB after the game. I'm starting to look for "LB loves Felton" graffitti on the road bridges **heart** I'll be shocked SHOCKED if the Bobcats trade Felton.

Hey this Vladimir guy is pretty good. He sure looks a helluva lot better than that guy we gave up. He's taller, stronger, faster, more confident, can shoot, can rebound....hmmmm. In one simple move we traded our "weak bench" (code words for Ammo and Shannon Brown) for competence. I like!

In one simple move we traded our "weak bench" (code words for Ammo and Shannon Brown) for competence. I like! Absolutely! What blew me away about him more than his offensive savvy (great cut down the lane where Boris found him for an easy layup, obviously sweet set jumper, etc.) was his speed on both ends, most notably on defense; I had no clue the guy could cover ground as quickly as he exhibited tonight. It's not even a contest what an upgrade he is over what we gave up....thank you Mitch Kupchack for doing a fellow Tar Heel such a favor!!!

About Raymond, our resident podcast extraordinaire, Amp says the same thing, Keetch; namely, that he won't be traded, if for nothing else than because his number one fan besides his mom and dad is Larry. I'm just so happy that Raymond is who he is which is why this relationship has worked out to the point it has. He wants to win; he wants to succeed; he'll listen and do what you tell him; he'll play 48 minutes each in back to backs if you ask him. The stat lines only tell a small portion about a player, and thankfully we have a mastermind at the helm who fully understands that.

I actually really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game tonight. Sure there weren't many there (actually more than I was expecting though) for a weekday in February game against a crap team, but the were pretty damn noisy in the 4th when we put the pedal to the metal and took it from the hapless Clips.

I have to tell you, from my 215 seats I have a really good view overlooking the visitor's bench at an angle and you get to notice a few things each night, and tonight it was obvious how.....ugly the situation is for the Clips. Amp pointed out to me during a TO in the 3rd that the players were just sitting in their seats, sipping on Gatorade looking at the floor, totally detatched from one another, never saying a word to each other, much less acknowledging each other's presence. And it was like this every TO the rest of the game. Once I saw Camby get up and go down the line giving 5s to the guys, and they reluctantly obliged, and then it was back to their own individual universe. So so so happy to be a Cats fan and not a Clips fan....not a pretty situation there....at all.

Overall, a pleasure as always to see BD come back to the Queen City, and even better that if he was going to have a stinker it would be against us. Will always love the guy and pull for him. I would say I feel for him being in hell playing for the Clips but he's got the money and he's back in his hometown doing his stuff extra-basketball related, so I'm sure he's doing fine. Still, we love you, BD!!!!

This was a great cure to the ills of the last couple weeks....oh and a Lexy jumper from the top of the key!!!

I was a little drunk last night, but I saw the last quarter. I have to admit that Vladi did pretty good, if he continues like that, this trade would prove a clear plus for our Bobcats. And this was nice win, at least nice for snapping the losing streak.

It was surprising to see May on the box score. I really wonder how he reacted.

V-Rad has already produced more in one game what Ammo had in the last... how many games? 3?

It's like Larry said at the press-conference, he missed some shots at first, but had the CONFIDENCE to keep shooting and eventually drained those 3s.

Beagle i looked for you . But Mike my rep keeps giving me tickets to section 103 row q . Nice seats just one step. But we will get back toghter one game as our season seats are not far apart.
Ziggy did Mike hook you up last night . He told me he was going to hook you up for the game.

LMAO I was shocked too...is he actually at weight or was he playing out of necessity?

I think McMay again showed how little the team needs him and how unprepared to play he still is...what a waste of talent for the love of tater tots...:banghead:
