I'm thinking of trying whiskey.
Does anyone else have any ideas?

Sure you could use whiskey and burn it out...
Personally, I do my best to stay away from medicine, I want my immune system to be strong when I get older so I don't necessarily have to take a lot of medicine.
Eat a lot of fruit. Oranges, apples, bananas.. those usually boost your vitamin levels up. Eat healthy food--salads, chicken breast, broccoli, things like that help.
Just stay healthy and active, and you'll be fine in no time :D

I just take Sudafed and try and deal with it as best I can
Well Zig Swedd is right you need the immune system, but I'm active and I get it a ton, I'm on my 3rd one this year...just take tylenol and fight through it...not much else to do I guess

Vitamin C, and B's... Theraflu kicks ass but tastes nasty as all hell. I like "Sleepy time" tea with a crapload of Honey, really fixes the throat and sinuses....nice and minty ;)

I tried whiskey last night, but that didn't work. I guess I'll have to try :airquote:legitimate:airquote: cold medicine.

I don't have a cure for a cold (virus), but if you have sinus issues (bacteria) just try using protein powder. I used to get a sinus infection every January. At some point my doctor told me that bacteria don't live well in a protein-rich environment. Since then, I have taken 1 protein shake per week at least during the winter and if I feel anything coming on I up that to one or two per day. Usually it is gone within 4-5 days. It may sound wacky, but it works for me. Good luck.
