Looks like this year's participants are Bozo the Clown, Citrus Mayonaise, and Jo-Jo.

I think having HORSE in the all star weekend is cool. It'll be interesting to see how creative the players get. I don't know if I really like the player selections, but I expect that Durant will have something cool to bring to the table.

also, since it's horse, the players may be doing some trick shots..i think oj probably has the best body control to do fancy shots, so i think he can win

I hate to say it but this thing was boring. 7pm east coast = 4pm phoenix, outside, 3 dudes with about 1/3 oz of personality. Seriously, these guys have been playing basketball for so long that it's fried their minds. C-Webb and Kenny the Jet are so obnoxious and EJ is like listening to that fake politician on weekend update that the guy who plays MacGruber does. Kenny and Chris gave Kevin Durrant a great idea where he could bring out a kid from the crowd and have to shoot over them, could have been a great moment then he said "Nah maybe next round" Boring man, freakin boring.

Agreed. They need 3 guys that like to clown to play this if they do it next year. I don't think any of them but Johnson prepared for it in any way, and it showed. I really liked the things that OJ tried to do towards the end, but he couldn't hit any of them, and missed a bunch of KD's shots too.

Next year, it should be Durant, JR Smith and Vince Carter or if he is back Gilbert Arenas.

All of those guys hit insane shots on the regular.
Also, Durant DROPPED OFF in the Rookie game. This guy is having a pretty good weekend.

I say devote 2 hours to it on NBA TV (where the airtime is cheaper) and make it 5 players. Last year's winner (Durant), a high rated Rook (like Beasley), a retired superstar (Jordan, Bird, Dr. J, etc), a Great D-League player (like White) and then an "America Picks" vote in (Howard, LeBron, Kobe, whoever "we" pick). Yes, I agree the chemistry needs to be more "fun" too. Last year I used to try to get to the arena early to watch Ammo and May play horse on their no jump legs. I thought ammo could really be something when I saw him pick up a near half court shot without jumping, but alas, I was wrong.

Honestly I think the whole ASW events need to chagne focus a bit. I find friday and especially saturday much more fun than sunday night. They need to show ALL the D-league events on TV, and I think they should give every team an entry in the skills challenege and 3 point shootout. I mean seriously does anyone disagree that DJ could have done that skills challenge quite a bit faster than Rose?
