My wife and i bought the weekend plan back in December. Since then we have gotten sucked in and we go to every game. She is 8 month pregnant so we just buy 2 $5 seats during the week and go sit in one of the Handicap sections at midcourt (224-226) as no one is there anyway and it is a good view.
I have seen some threads on here about being able to get upgraded. Part of my original plan tickets are tonight for the wizards, anybody have ideas for how to egt upgraded to the lower bowl? I got to sit down there last friday 4 rows off fo center court and it was nice in the club section. I also saw how people can sneak into there (A little secret i will keep off the egneralpost here ) but i'd rather get upgraded legitimately.
I am going to all the games, speding money multiple times a week on food, beer and merchandise, how can i get hooked up

You just be lucky enough to be walking around and have a season ticket rep find you and ask you to be upgraded. There's no real "secret" to it, it's just basically luck and it's happened to me and the hubby about 4 times. They like upgrading fans who have jerseys on as well cuz when they see hubby and give him tix they ask him how many people in his group have jerseys on and he says all of us cuz we do all have jerseys on. The most people we have gotten upgraded in our group was 5 and the least was 3. We will be at tonight's game as well and we don't really look forward to getting upgraded like that cuz we realize that it can't happen every game....

Best suggestion I could make for you is to kinda walk around upstairs, the two ladies we've been lucky enough to find have pretty much stopped me while I was walking around. My trick, I wear a jersey with a sleeveless shirt so my tattoo is very visible ;)

I called and spoke to my ticket rep and he said he had to "protect the integrity of the product" and could not do an upgrade as we got moved when we took the tour of the facility for a game down to 103
I understand to a point but i have spent a lot of money there this year between tickets for every game since mid December to merchandise to drinks, etc. With the place more than 1/2 empty during weekday games and the promos they are currently running you would think they could hook me up for a game or two in the middle of the week.
Any other ideas

How about buying the seats you want?

I did at the time, prices are WAY lower now though, they shoujld take car eof people who were buying before the sales given that i buy mid week tickets as well and psend a small fortune on concessiona nd merchandise, not like the place is loaded with fans

Bobcats cannot tell directly who gets concessions and do not get direct profits...the have a contract with Levy Restaurants...so concessions has no impact, and merchandise has no impact because its also not directly traced to you. Only thing they see is tickets.

Glad you had a good time, but honestly, if you paid $165 for "club seats" wouldn't it just piss you off that someone who paid <not $165> came down to your section and just sat down?

Yes and no. I mean i have $35 seats for the games and a ton of people come from the $5 section and sit near or next to us. It doesn't bother me much. Same thing on a different scale
The otehr thing is how people act. If I were to stumble down there drunk and acting loud and obnoxious, then yes. As it is I'm a real fan and within 10 minutes two guys behind me were asking me about different players and another group to my left were discussing depth of the bench with me. Everyone had a good time. Most are just there to have fun anyway. If it was a weekend game and was even remotely croweded i would have just stayed in my seats. The mid week games against weak teams are empty, i mean i was 4 rows from feet on the floor seats and there was literally not a sigle person in the ntire row. The lower bowl was 2/3 empty at least and the upper section was the worst i have seen it, about 80% empty.
They are lucky to have people that actually come to every game and spend money
