I found this, I appologize if it's been posted elsewhere (I'm a thread header reader and "What do you think....." doesn't grab me, so I don't read all of them). I didn't realize his ranking across the major "big man" categories (13th in blocks, 5th in FG %, 5th in rebounds per game). I'm impressed, also by the fact that they've put him in some "future" category. Yes, we all know he's not Dwight Howard, but no one else from that draft class or since is or will be either. Okafor is a damn good player though and I'm glad he's going to be here for the long haul.

I like Mek just fine and I am happy with him but he has trouble with the big bigs in the league, other than that he is a great player. Like someone else said in another thread we just have to find ways to get around that weakness when we play the bigger bigs.....:cool:

I like Mek on this team, sure he gets beasted by some of the big men, but usually he holds his own. He's a good defensive player down low, and his offense is really improving this season...

I don't worry about all that, I just go out there and play, Okafor says. I understand that a lot of things are predicated on winning. When we start winning more, all those other steps come.That's what I love to hear. I'll take that all day long

Good to know he's putting in the hard yards. It's great to see Emeka near the top in blocks, FG%, blocks and double-doubles. ;)
