Syracuse vs UConn, Big East tourney opener tonight. It's in the 6th overtime right now, and they arent done, although it looks like Syracuse is goona pull it out, which s amazing considering theyre the underdog. I was just trying to think of a game that was longer, and I can't think of any. Heck, in the regular season most sports would call it way before. But this has been a heck of a game, and if anyone has other epic battles theyve watched, post them here I guess?

Just for your reference.
NBA: longest NBA game ever ended after 6 overtime with the Indianapolis Olympians beating the Rochester Royals 75 - 73.
The NCAA record book (NCAA.org) lists a 7 OT game from 1981 (so pre-shot clock)... Cinncinnati (75) v. Bradley (73). [Division I]
In the shot clock era of the NBA 5OT is the longest http://www.nytimes.com/1989/11/10/sports/bucks-defeat-supersonics-in-5-overtimes.html?n=Top/Reference/Times%20Topics/Subjects/B/Basketball to see the article about it.
NEEDLESS TO SAY 6OT is INSANE!
